my brand new laptop: Lenovo Thinkpad E550

It took "only" 7 working days to get delivered, but at least it's here and it's the machine I wanted (completely customized).

First impression is positive, but I'll play with it for a while and will probably write a full review in a couple of weeks.

It's been 7 days since +Dell stole my money charging my bank account for an order I cancelled weeks ago, no refund yet...

Do yourself a favour and do NOT ever buy from DELL.

Good question, you should ask DELL...

If I won't get my money back today I will contact my bank and try to sort this with them

Side drawer navigation could be costing you half your user engagement

Glad to see some numbers which support my ideas.

That's why I'm going for a mixed approach in +Sim Betting Football and I will blog about it soon.

"Game Of Thrones" Ultimate Birthday Rap Battle

Definitely the best and funniest (music) video parody on Game of Thrones.

I am surprised they haven't passed 1M views months ago, this is pure comic gold.

warning: the video contains spoilers for seasons 1-3

Why Google I/O 2015 keynote was totally pointless

40% is a quite optimistic estimate, it's more likely to be around 35%, after 12 months...

Apple iOS does that in days, so I really can't see how you can define that positive.

Regarding OEMs switching to other OSes I doubt so, mostly because people are used to Android now and they demand Android on their devices. Pushing for other, unknown systems could be quite challenging (Samsung tried/is trying and always failed).

FIFA corruption scandal live coverage by CNN.

Many FIFA leaders involved in a corruption scandal, what a surprise! </irony>

If Blatter was a real man would resign immediately, but he will never do it of course. Sorry mate, you can be greedy all you want, but time is against you...

Basic Information
Looking for
Friends, Networking
Other names
m3xican, vivaladav
all we need is pixels and beer
AKA m3xican AKA vivaladav.

I'm an Italian game developer from Naples (Italy), currently working and living in London (UK).
Also web developer, former indie game developer, long time Linux user, open source advocate and professional slacker.

I'm mostly into programming and game design, but as indie developer I'm usually doing a bit of everything, from marketing to running my own server.

Main interests:
- Arduino
- beer
- coding
- cooking
- football
- gamedev
- games
- investments
- music (mostly punk rock & alternative rock, but I listen to metal and other genres too)
- photography
- rugby
- webdev

IMPORTANT: I'm not going to circle back the following people:
- people who do not post in English or Italian (I'm sure you're awesome, but I can't learn a new language just for reading your stuff...)
- people with no posts (what's the point???)
- people with no info in their About page (if you're too lazy to fill a web form I'm too lazy to click a button twice)
- fanboys (I don't believe in any god, so if you worship a person or a piece of shiny plastic I think you probably need a shrink)
- people doing web marketing, SEO jobs or any other shit like that (yes, I'm mean)
- people posting lame stuff and/or using 99% of their posts to auto-promote their stuff (zzzZZZ)
- people posting stuff I'm not interested in (I'm interested in many things, but I can't be interested in everything, sorry)

I know this seems a bit picky, but at the moment Google+ is the social network I'm using most, as FB sucks and Twitter is pretty meh compared to G+, so I'm not going to follow everybody just to show to my friends how cool I am with my huge number of contacts... If I'm following somebody it's cause I'm really interested in her/his posts and/or I really know her/him, that's all.

See you on the Interwebz!

I had a Dirty Bacon (cheese burger with bacon) last night and I wasn't very happy with it. The place is quite small, no tables, only few stools, so it's more suited for a quick burger or takeaway than a proper lunch/dinner. They didn't ask me how I wanted my burger, which is quite unusual... but at least I didn't have to wait too much to get my order done.Unfortunately what I got was below the average. The burger was overcooked, the bacon was way undercooked and for £7 is was expecting a bigger and better burger. It's more 2.5/5 stars, but overall I don't think they deserve 2 stars so I went for 3.

Good venue for gigs, decent size which means good bands play there quite often, but not too big so you can get close to the band if you want. The only thing I don't like is the claustrophobic tunnel you have to go through to exit, but that's a minor thing I guess as it doesn't affect the show you're there for.

the place is nice, especially during the summer, but avoid the food as it's overpriced and not that great. An example of that is the margherita pizza with oregano on it... ludicrous!

It's a place for silly tourists with no knowledge of London, if you want to eat a good burger or meat in general this is not the place where to go. I've been here last night for the first and last time, not that I wanted to, but I had to. The place is quite small and most of the tables are for max 4 people, so if you're in a group of more than 4 (like I was last night) get ready to wait long times. I tried quite few things so I know the overall quality is low and everything is extremely overpriced, even for a city like London. Most of their burgers come at about £17 whereas the average price in London is £8-9 and the quality was below the standard (burger was overcooked and lacking of seasoning). The ribs were fine, but everything is nice when you dip it into BBQ sauce and cook it on a BBQ grill. The worst thing was the pulled pork though, it was old, heavy and dry, probably you can get worse only at KFC (but at a fraction of what you pay here). Do yourself a favor and just don't go there.

Not a proper Japanese restaurant, the menu is quite random and weird. Nice place, decent staff, but the quality of the food is quite poor especially for those prices and there's not much choice. You can get a much better value for money going to any Wasabi.

It's ok, but there's better in town. The burger was nice even if I had to pay extra for some BBQ sauce which didn't taste like BBQ sauce at all. The french fries were quite greasy, but not too bad. Service was relatively quick for a full restaurant on a Saturday night.

From the outside it looks amazing, but when you go in things are totally different, and not in a good way. Everything inside is old and not in a "old worth a lot of money way", but old in the "this is just old rubbish, you should throw it away" way, which is unpleasant. There are also some stairs on one side of the main room taking to a panel covering the wall which make you feel like the place is under construction/renovation, but open to the public anyway. Average selection of beers you can find in most of the pubs in London. Maybe it's ok If you're around and want to go for a quick pint, otherwise it's much better going somewhere else (which is valid in general when talking about Leyton).
