to walk beyond the world is hard,
the obligation to earn freedom,
the requirement to suffer for it,
to walk beyond the world is easy.

it's easy to imagine a better world,
and the people who might live in it.

When presented it seemed a reasonable time of awakening, but as is often the case with such things, it was perhaps a bit early.

carefully one may place a stone,
its motion remains for them alone
as their life leaks through on its own.

As to the Matter of Perception

Without a theory of observation are we left to wonder if art can be valuated in terms of its reproduction; as like any form, the more rare, the more value.

or is it the reverse? I forget...

Can you copy something you have seen; perhaps only that which you have not seen can be copied without difference.

or is it the reverse? I forget...

It's the not media that is never the same twice, it's the mind.

As to the Nature of Water

How is it we can dream the world and not know we are doing it, is it too complex, too simple, beyond our cognitive grasp altogether?

Yet when we dream, we bring so much with us, including our own personal vibration.

An Approximation of Form

Perhaps it is the space between thoughts that defines consciousness, much like the space between notes defines music. But where is that space, where does a note or body, or number end and an object begin?

If granularity is an addictive approximation of form, how can we even think without defining units?

As we define we limit, perhaps this why the sages have always claimed nothing is everything, or perhaps not.
