Setting the record straight!
Well nothing like an explosive twitter feed to wake you up
on a Saturday Morning. Do you know what this is?    You don’t? Then you can’t like the airplane it’s attached
to. Well that’s what I felt like this morning before I wrote this. I posted the first in...

I like airplanes and wine!
I like airplanes. I used to like only red wine,  Cabernet to be specific,   until my
brother, who obsesses about wine, like I do about planes, changed that.   Wine for him is a giant research
project.   My friend David says the
same thing about my model bui...

R2-D2 a friend for life! Thanks Kenny!
Ironically I started writing this earlier in the week, with
the passing of Kenny Baker (1934-2016) it seemed important to finish it! On May 29, 1977 I saw Star Wars.    I was seven.   Some days are impressed into your psyche.    I’m not old enough to rememb...

My top 10 Carrier Aircraft.
So Xtended did another list this time of the Top 10 Carrier
aircraft.   So it had a decided Euro
bent.  Ok so the historian needs to do
some corrections.  Their list was; 10. Sea Fury 9. F/A-18 Hornet  8. Dauntless 7. Rafale 6 F-4 Phantom 5. Hellcat 4. Sea ...

I’m not an expert; I play one on a podcast.
Yes, that’s right I am not an expert in spite of listeners
accusations, and co-host comments. To quote my favorite end to a podcast,   “We’re just opinionated
enthusiasts.”   Thank you Mr.
McHerron and Mr. Visscher.   I also have a tiny fortune in my cube f...

Milestones of Flight, Milestones in Life
While driving, on June 28, 2016  to the National
Air and Space Museum’s press preview of the new Boeing Milestones of Flight Hall,
I had an epiphany.   I have made a milestone
in my recovery. Recently I was asked what was
the hardest thing I ever did.   Her...

Since the Main Stream Media won't ask helpful questions this Election Cycle, here are mine!
So as it stands now, I am completely undecided on who to
vote for this coming April and November. Since the Media will not ask questions that I care about, I
thought I would come up with some of my own.  These might not seem to you to be appropriate
questio...

The ship is plainly visible from Front Street, across the Route 1 bridge in downtown Bath. Nothing like this angular, almost hulking giant has ever been seen here, even after well over a century of shipbuilding at Bath Iron Works.

If you have to make Slushies and sell pizza you are not a winery. It's unfortunate but my wife and I really wanted to go only to find, they do not make their own wine as said in previous reviews. I really didn't want to taste a California Chardonnay. Most of the tasting got poured into the spit bucket. Do yourself a favor keep going north on RT 15 to above Leesburg and do the wineries there.

We just move into the area. Stopped by and got Lunch. Hot Sausage and Peppers Great. A root beer float to die for. My wife had a Cheese burger. Also the staff there were really pleasant. We will be going back. Breakfast menu looks great.
