This is a great thing. I remember HTC introducing this in 2014 I believe, not so long after the HTC ONe M8 was introduced. It's a great way to use Google's infrastructure to roll out updates so the software engineers can work on building the software. Good on ya, +OnePlus. :)

OnePlus announces 'Individual Application Update' for OnePlus 5, OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 3 #OnePlus #OnePlus3

Android has been infamously known for its fragmentation whereby Android OEMs take as long as several months to update the Android system for their devices. Google pushes out Android system updates for its Pixel (formerly Nexus) devices, while Android OEMs…

You know, I'm really excited by the possibility of Android One in the American market. Now I admit that I am heading to America soon so this clearly helps, but I really enjoy near-stock or stock devices and them being kept up to date.

For 2017 I am spoiled! Nokia, Android One, Pixel, and I'll add to the list Wileyfox too.

Unfortunately, my Wileyfox Swift 2 doesn't support much in the way of US LTE (or even 3G) bands, and I might get bored with coping with EDGE and hopping on plentiful and fast Wi-Fi hotspots, so watch this space.

The HTC U 11 is one of my favourite devices, but it's also a device I won't be buying. It's expensive, and HTC's software update policy is not what I want. However, I still admire and love the device.
HTC’s ‘Ocean Master’ rumored to be the HTC U 11 Plus and features 6-inch bezel-less display #HTC #OceanLife

Google and HTC recently signed an agreement that sees Google acquiring some of HTC’s engineers. As part of this deal, HTC is still able to develop its own smartphones. One such device is known as the HTC ‘Ocean Master’ and we have a new leak providing…

Now, my investment management career tells me never to take statistics at face value, but I can't ignore the big drop in Pornhub viewing numbers from iOS and MacOS-using customers during the Apple keynote on Wednesday. Or the recovery bounce right afterwards.

Luckily, you won't catch me watching! The acting is terrible, the content is clearly structured to deliberately please the eye without any investigation, stuff simply isn't as real as it's made out to be.

Nor will I be watching Pornhub.
