Google+ is dead, no it's not. Hmm, what are the facts? Which brands are actually succeeding using Google+? Here's a post from +Nicolette Beard on 4 consumer brands kicking the plus out of Google's social network:

Awesome article about marriage.
In last week's Marriage Memo, I wrote of seven things men need to know about marriage. In a culture of counterfeits and mistruths, it's important to understand what marriage is about. Here are seven more things men should know. As you read through the list, ask God to remake you and help you ...

Great piece. Mike's interviewer is weird and they misspelled Mike's name. Nice.

Bad business practices. Purchased a hydraulic auger attachment for $300, warehouse manager would not take cash or check, credit card only. THEN Edney charged a 3% fee, to me, on top of my purchase, penalizing me for using a credit card. It's a good thing my purchase was only $321 dollars, as I would have hated to see what a 3% transaction fee looked like on a $5,000 equipment purchase. This company is SO old school, they even had to run my credit card by calling the transaction into a call center, via a phone call. Buyers and businesses beware.

As a business traveler, I've found Beacon Pointe Resorts the best place to stay in Duluth. I travel from the Twin Cities to Duluth and it's easy to get to, easy on the pocket book and so private and quiet. I've also stayed here with my family and found it equally comfortable. I would highly recommend Beacon Pointe Resorts as THE place to stay in the Duluth area. This resort is top notch.

My wife and I moved back to Twin Cities in spring of 2013 and first had to sell our Brainerd area home. We lived on 2.5 acres south of Brainerd. The home was a five bedroom and three bathroom split lever originally built in 2006. Positive Realty came recommended by our Twin Cities realtor's office. There are other local real estate companies to choose from, but Positive is the best bet, as they have good integrity. A couple points of feedback I would give for the Google review is our realtor at Positive does need to improve how they communicate via email and how they market their office. Marketing efforts were fair to poor and mobile website didn't function properly. Most importantly, email communication needed improvement. Overall, I would recommend them, but with the understanding there are challenges in working with them.

Hours of operation are pretty bad. 8-5 M-F? I work 7-6 M-F. They're also not open Saturdays or Sundays. Not very accommodating. Otherwise they're good at what they do.

This place is amazing! Of all the breakfast and dining establishments in the suburban Twin Cities, this place is truly a gem. The Valley Diner is located in Apple Valley, kind of off the beaten path, in the south suburbs near St. Paul, MN. They serve breakfast all day, the owner serves his customers, the place is SO clean and it's extremely affordable and family friendly. It's also couple centric, so any couple of any age could enjoy a nice, classy meal or strawberry malt. Would highly, highly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed at the Timberlake Lodge on September 20th and 21st. The staff there were excellent! The room was beautiful & so clean. This place is a true gem. I would highly recommend staying here, as a business traveler or for personal reasons.
