Several months ago I had cataract surgery on both eyes. Hoopes Vision performed the procedure and then selected me to be featured in their TV and online ad campaign. Here's the online version which of course also stars Moya!

I've photographed this tree many time during the tours I do in Yellowstone National Park each winter. It's interesting to see it as the winter season progresses. By the end of the season it was completely covered over with snow.

We were watching several wolves of the Wapiti Lake wolf pack in Yellowstone as they moved around in the Madison River Valley.

Looking around I noticed a few of the wolves keeping an eye on us from high on the ridge behind us. Most of the time they were too hidden to get any good shots of them but this one was just nicely framed by the trees.

Revisiting iceberg images from Antarctica this weekend. Always a favorite subject when visiting the far North and South.

Winter in Yellowstone photo tour number 4 this season and I was finally able to capture a shot I'd been hoping for over several years. Seen in Hayden Valley a lone bison and a single dead tree. I head back up tomorrow for 2 more weeks of shooting and hope to get this with the bison more to the left of the frame. One can always hope!

I've just finished photo tour 4 out of 6 for this winter in Yellowstone and we've seen plenty of wildlife including this coyote along the Madison River enjoying the last spot of sun for the day. We've also had several opportunities to photograph the Wapiti Lake pack of wolves this winter and I'll post a few of those images soon.
If interested my tours are limited to 2 client per trip and more information may be found at this link. http://davidcschultz.com/photo-tour-yellowstone-winter/ #coyotes #wildlife #yellowstone

Along the Interstate.
I've passed these fields MANY times on my way to S. Utah, always looking for the shot I have in my mind. I'd love to see a single horse (black would be nice) in the tall grass or a hawk or raven sitting on the fence. Until that scenario presents itself I figured I might as well stop and take a few photos just in case the rancher decides one day to take down the wooden fence.
Until next time...
