See, most bloggers who launch their blog end up launching to relative silence. They set some deadline for a month or two in the future and they work toward it. Then, when the date arrives they unleash that new blog to the world and…
Reality then hits.
Nobody was waiting for your blog. The world didn’t really care.
David Risley is a professional blogger, entrepreneur, and online marketer. Having generated over $1.3 million online as a blogger, today he teaches bloggers how to turn their passions into a solid, profitable business through a combination of blogging and internet marketing.
David got his start as a technology writer at PCMech.com, a site he founded back in 1998. He turned PCMech.com into a commercial success being visited by over 300,000 people per month. PCMech has been included in PC World, PC Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and even Playboy Magazine. David has also written two books for the tech world: Build Your Own PC and Build Your Own Network.
Drawing from his experience building up PCMech.com, David started Davidrisley.com (now Blog Marketing Academy) in mid 2008 as a way to help other bloggers achieve the same success. He has since expanded into that niche with the creation of several training programs, including 3DayMoney.com, BlogMastersClub.com and the Inner Circle. He has also contributed to and been interviewed by several leading blogs in the niche.
He lives in Tampa, Florida with his wife, Malika, and two children.
