Inspire -
One of the more inspiring monuments I have seen. The Monument of the Conquerers of Space at the Russian Cosmonaut Museum just north of Moscow, Russia is 351 tall, clad in titanium panels, has a bas relief of classic Soviet era art and depicts a rocket atop a stream of exhaust. It is a wonderful piece of art. www.davidrecht.net

It truly was like a bay window view of the heart of Las Torres del Paine in Chilean Patagonia. The view is across Lago Nordenskjold to the very impressive Paine massif. www.davidrecht.net

Walking across a gravel peninsula from the glacier boat debarcation point, you can take in the full scale of Patagonia, and Grey Lake after having just seen Grey Glacier which occupies 100 square miles and is at least 100ft thick. www.davidrecht.net

Wanna Guanaco?
This guanaco (sounds like "wanaco") was seen in Chilean Patagonia in the Las Torres del Paine national park. Guanacos, the original wild version of the domesticated llama and alpaca, number about 400K. www.davidrecht.net

Go Bald! -
Do you like bald eagles? If so, check out a link to my collection of bald eagle photos. Most are from Alaska on a photo tour by Juan Pons (prior to Juan joining Muench Workshops where the tour is still offered annually) on the Northern Song with the rest from my photo trips to Klamath Falls, OR and Ocean Shores, WA. #juanpons #muenchworkshops #northernsong #baldeagles http://www.davidrecht.net/new-gallery/
