Awesome video and solid advice. Especially liked the "no more annoyance solving apps" section.

David,

I like how these guys are really going for it. Pushing the envelope to get that ultimate ride. It sure must be a rush coming down the hill not knowing if it’s going to be the ride of your life or your going to hit the pavement. That's probably the fun of it. Rick always said racing on sailboats was fun because there was an element of danger in there, someone could potentially get hurt and that is what made it exciting.

Thanks for the video!

Cheryl

First, I would like to preface with some details about myself. I used to be very into working on Hondas and raced weekly. I have a few friends that are also into Hondas, racing them, etc. I have run my car hard and used to work on it regularly. I have been to Scott Robinson twice for engine repair. First was warranty repair on a known issue with the K20Z3 engine. The block can crack over time from a casting defect. This causes coolant to leak out and eventually the engine overheats. Scott Robinson tried to void the warranty stating water got into the engine, which caused extra compression, and thus cracked the block. This was a ridiculous, falsified story. Honda has officially announced the problem with the block cracking with press releases to their dealers. Scott Robinson was well aware of the problem, but chose to blatantly lie in an effort to make a profit, instead of dealing with a warranty problem. Water never came anywhere near the inside the pistons. Because of the nature of the crack, I was able to quickly prove it was indeed the cracking block issue and they honored the warranty. When I got the car back, it worked fine. However, after working on the car myself for some time afterward, I discovered several simple snap on parts and screws missing. Any attention to detail was clearly ignored. The second time I had to go here to get my engine fixed from a spun rod bearing. I only went to Scott Robinson again because of their proximity to my home. In hindsight, this was such a stupid decision. When they finally fixed the engine, they charged $500 over their quoted price. I am now finding MORE simple snap on parts missing from the car. They broke the hood prop, which now raddles very clearly and annoyingly in the cabin. The "wash" done to the car created scratches and swirls everywhere in the paint. Bottom line: I suggest you that you never go here for anything. They are not honest and do poor work.
