Introduction
Nothing bad has ever happened to me on Friday the 13th. Except for that one time at camp.
... That was an anomaly.

The Northwest Examiner called me "A cross between Garrison Keillor and Salvador Dali."

I'm a contributor to Funny Times, Rosebud magazine, and various other publications and anthologies.

I published a satirical journal, Vision? Nary!, which was reviewed positively by MaximumRock'n'Roll and the Joe Bob Report, newsletter of drive-in movie critic Joe Bob Briggs.

The Daily News:
 "David Raffin is hilarious."

Peter Bacho (Author of "Cebu" "Dark Blue Suit") says of his writing: "Intelligent, humorous, and highly imaginative– always a pleasure to read."

The Daily Olympian:
"He’s not your average comedian."

Larry Ziak, KMUN:
"I nearly choked on my breakfast from laughing so hard."

Jodi Lamm (Author of “Titan Magic”):
"His perversions are oddly analytical."

I am evolved from a monkey. I think that's pretty impressive. I put it on my resume. My resume is very long. It is quite a tale.

I wrote this to commemorate the death of Ronald Reagan. It ran in a magazine in Texas. Still true today.   Killing you softly by David Raffin Very rarely do people kill politicians. Especially given the fact that so many people fantasize about doing so.…

I question all the proposed laws against burning or desecrating the flag. That’s bad for business; ergo it is un-American. Think of it: every flag burned is product moved. Flag burning should be encouraged. That’s good business. Otherwise flags would have…

My finest poem:

I like to do math
It puts me back
On that evil left handed path
For what is math
That Wicked art
Which reduces all to that
Numeric flow chart
It sets one and one apart
Ripped from each other
With a cold math heart
And joins together randoms
Thereby forced to work in tandem
For the sake of the equation
Where the means justify the ends.
