Another excellent talk by Hans Rosling at TEDxSummit. 'We are still debating Peak Oil, but we have reached Peak Babies', 2 billion per year. This will still yield a planet with 10 billion humans in the near future.

I think life expectancy is almost as important as birth rate, when it comes to converting the Earth's mass into people.
 
Yes, I think it would be a good question to ask him, factoring in death rate changes as well as birth rate is important looking forward. I am a fan of 1975 movie  Death Race 2000 :-)
