Build a robot, make a phone, make an inexpensive cloud server; what will you do with the new Raspberry Pi?

+Raspberry Pi
The RPi 2 packs the power of a moderate PC and can run a full-fledged Linux OS, anywhere I want.

I just put out my new book, Project Management for the Non-Project Manager.  Every company should be running a project whether they have a PMO or not.  Sometimes they don't have the know-how, but this is the definitive toolbox for picking solid projects that have a major and positive influence on the financials of a company.

This is really all you need to pick solid projects and run them through to completion successfully!

Financial Reports
Why is everyone so concerned with the P&L?  Their belief is that it tells you how well a company is doing; how profitable they are.  This is, in fact, entirely wrong.  I've had a saying for years.  It goes like this.  The Cash Flow statement tells you how y...

I guess the question for me is; is there enough competition to avoid price-fixing and collusion?

I think there is.  There are at least three providers of internet service in my area, so I think that's ample competition.

Yawn, stretch.  What's this?  Another production delay from Apple?
Summary:Apple's iPad Pro looks like more of a September-October happening and the degree of difficulty for tablets replacing PCs in the enterprise is increasing.

I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the Alien movies.  I even enjoyed Aliens 3 and 4, although 3 I could have done without.  This new Alien movie by Bloomkamp seems just the ticket to me.
Director Neill Blomkamp has revealed his new "Alien" movie will overwrite "Alien 3" and "Alien: Resurrection".

Seeing an Ubuntu phone finally going on sale would have excited me a while ago, but I just got a brand new G3 and I'm locked in for a while.  Now I see this and think to myself, "Wow, it took so interminably long..."

Anyway, good luck to Ubuntu and their new phone.  The scopes look pretty cool.  +Ubuntu Phones
It's hard to believe that in just a few short weeks the first Ubuntu Phone goes on sale, manufactured by Bq Readers. It feels like it's taken ages to get to this point, but at the same time no time at all.

I'm an operations guy, have been for years. I've managed production for the ignition assembly used in Honda Accords, Civics and CRVs and I've managed production for a host of other automotive products including springs and wire harnesses used on Toyota, Mazda, Honda, Mitsubishi, Ford, and other auto makers' cars. I enjoy sailing, reading, fitness, and sports of all kinds. I'm no stranger to adversity; it's not easy being a Packers fan in Chicago!
Bragging rights
Almost 2/3 of drivers on the road with model years between 2003 and 2008 have a part or product in their car for which I was responsible for production.
