Credit to +CD PROJEKT RED and +GOG.com - DRM-Free Games. I haven't played any Witcher game yet, but I preordered TW3 early partly because I want to support this company and its practices, and am looking forward to trying it.

I hope TW3 is made available for Linux, too.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a hit, both commercially and critically. The game has sold over 4 million copies in three weeks worldwide, with an average review score of over 90 on every platform...

I got this as a free gift with my latest British food order. (It was that or a packet of Haribo.) Target practice?

The whole article is well worth a read for some great insights into modern-day web design and user behaviour.

"[...] we have implemented a new "infinite scroll" feature, which allows users to simply move down to the bottom of the page in order to load a new article. To get the most out of this interactive experience, readers are encouraged to constantly scroll downward on their browsers at all times, during every moment of every day."

Brendan Eich got shouted out of the organization for having unpopular personal politics -- but when Mozilla does things like this, where's the noise? Where's the pressure to clean house?
Firefox, you're supposed to be in my pocket, not the other way around. Disclaimer: I'm a bit pissed off, so this article might contain some anger. Today, I updated my Firefox, and had a new icon on my toolbar: pocket. I took at quick look at the ToS and privacy policy; here is my tl;dr: ...

I am really liking the GOG and Galaxy approach. Next time I'm in Windows and have a bit of time for gaming stuff I'll be trying this out.

GOG Galaxy, the DRM-free online gaming platform, has just entered public beta! It offers one-click installation, automatic updates, library management, friends lists, chat, and so much more.

Get it here: http://j.mp/GOGgalaxy

Check it out at the link above and give it a try yourself - but no pressure, it's fully optional!

Does anyone have experience with/recommendations of translation platforms for sites, apps and docs? I'm looking at open source and commercial options.

+David Oliver Python just isn't very portable in my experience, and runs into some of the same problems as Ruby regarding poor packaging and supportability. So yeah, I don't blame you. While I have confidence that with diligence you can get Pootle working just fine, I have a lot less certainty concerning its long term maintainability.
