Check out "Avalanche" by Zola Jesus. Another track for my stream when I write sci-fi.

Just added another stick to the quiver. This was the board I had in mind when I wrote Cover . I will be trying it out in the morning, but the water temp is a cool 58F... yikes! I have been surfing in FL all winter in 84F. This is going to hurt.

Yes, I do love watching SYTYCD. Not only is this performance brilliant, you might recognize the Draft Punk track from TRON (Legacy), which I have on my stream when writing sci-fi. I can't wait to see these girls can do.

Neill Blomkamp, who directed District 9, Chappie and other greats, is experimenting with a YouTube channel to see which of his ideas gain traction. From the trailer(s), it looks awesome.

I recently returned from a trip to China and traveled up the Yangtze to Three Gorges and the dam. The shear magnitude of this project comes at a cost to humanity, but at the same time advances it. There is a saying in China, TIC meaning This Is China, when something happens or exists that simply is beyond your control.

It's cool to see an well known author talk about their protagonist in ways that they feel the character is guiding them and not the other way around. I did not understand this until about 2 years of writing, seriously, when the process of writing became fluent and translation was no longer necessary. Before that I was writing as if my characters were on strings and could not move or talk until I pulled on those strings. But with my latest work, I feel as if I am beside them, observing their actions and taking notes, guiding them now and then... well... at least not the stubborn ones who do not take direction; then I just prey they don't get me killed. ;-)

Ok... all I can say is.. *** ****!!!! (idiomatic, vulgar, slang) This was well done and it got my attention. But then again.. I was a fan of the original, so don't shoot the messenger....
