Not sure why, but I really love this song!  Enough diversity for me to enjoy.  The middle/bridge section is one of those song-parts that I cannot get out of my head - and don't want to :-)  I have awakened to just that part of the tune more than once over the last few months - and I just 'sing' along.

The total opposite of some songs that I just can't get out of my head, but would gladly use even a fork if I could!!

I have been on-the-ground on both sides.  I gotta say, this really is the most accurate description of what's going on in the Near East.  To me, this describes well what is going on.
Do you know how it feels to know that your life is worth nothing only because you are Palestinian?

Anyone know how to change the permissions on folders/directories in +Perforce?  I'm talking about the read/write/execute permissions of a folder.  And please do not state, "Perforce doesn't save folders."  I know.

After spending a few hours trying to get my Mac (OS X 10.8) to run the PHP 5.5 and mcrypt (so as to use +Laravel), I stumbled across this post on how to compile mcrypt without recompiling all of PHP 5.5, etc.  Perfectly written - it was so easy to take into account the specifics of my setup.  This is just awesome: http://coolestguidesontheplanet.com/how-to-install-mcrypt-for-php-on-mac-osx-lion-10-7-development-server/

This is Jazz + Rock + Talent.  And it is amazing.  SUPER AMAZING!  You should listen to this album and enjoy it.  Then go on YouTube and watch these players - they're fun to watch, too!

Brilliant assessment that sets proper expectations on what #Agile can and should do whilst removing the absurdities that have crept in way too fast from thinking-free implementations of Agile

A robot arm that catches stuff thrown at it - adjusting it's position to the orientation the object is going to be in.  Equally impressive is how it is 'programmed' - teaser: it's programmed just like you.

This is just awesome!

Introduction
I've grown up a bit misunderstood until I realized how I miscommunicate.  Only took me 33 years and a lot of self-reflection/digging-in-the-dirt.
I'm married to an AMAZING woman - more than I can understand.  We have two, great kids (great because my wife is also an incredible mother to them).
I get to be a full LAMP developer - very fun.  When I'm not doing that, and not being a husband and dad, I get to help leaders and managers figure out themselves, their organizations, their future, and their purpose for living.

We needed a dentist for an emergency situation (broken, front tooth) - they stayed open long enough for us to get in and get started. Came back for excellent, careful, and well-explained work. Everyone - front-to-back - is courteous, personal, and professional (and they even have a sense of humor!). Couldn't ask for anything more. Cleanings, tooth repair, etc. are all reasonably priced and they do a great job explaining options, costs, etc. I really like these folks!!

What a HORRIBLE set of experiences! They way overcharged, did unnecessary work, and did a horrible job with my filling... ended up finding out they cracked my tooth when doing the filling, which was also way too high so I ended up with a horribly painful tooth that kept hitting the other teeth. Further, when doing the dental work, Christine Isaacs (the dentist) and her assistant were ridiculously rough with my mouth - my jaw muscles hurt for days. I was like I had just kicked the dentist in the knee and now she was taking it out on mouth - so weird. They didn't even ask if I had had recent X-rays (which I had), they just told me I *had* to get new ones - later I was told, "Most people feel uncomfortable asking another dentist to transfer X-rays." No, I feel uncomfortable paying hundreds of dollars unnecessarily! Honestly, I would absolutely stay away from this office. Shoddy craftsmanship, unethical financial practices, and rude employees. I was *so* glad to find another dentist nearby!!

Had a Beef Shawarma plate - unbelievably good! Tender beef, perfect flavoring. Rather large portion, too! Everything else was equally delicious - salads, rice, sides, dessert. GREAT service, friendly staff. I hope they are forced to expand soon! Going back, often, with co-workers (we work not very far away).

Not worth the time nor money. Breakfasts were rather bland (not one table did *not* have people pouring hit sauce, etc. in their food!). REALLY skimpy on the not-filler ingredients. Coffee was cold at 30 minutes after opening. Food want really very warm either. I left feeling like I would have rather stayed home and made the exact same food myself (I am *not* one who cooks). The music was good (one positive). Not ever coming back.
