The Greater Tokyo Area has loads family-friendly and light hiking choices providing the chance to escape from the urban world for a short time. The following hikes are well worth a look-see if you’re needing inspiration (Takao-san didn’t make the list👏) and are great options for getting outdoors with the family 🌲👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🌱🌳

Japanese made EIZO LCD monitors are a joy to use with a wide colour gamut and excellent image quality. While pricey they hold their resale value with my previous FlexScan SX2762W depreciating by only 65 per cent after six years of use :-)

While no longer in circulation the old 500-yen banknote series depicted Mt. Fuji from Mt. Gangaharasuri a little-known mountain in Yamanashi. On a recent hike to the area, I wanted to pay tribute to the original engraving by recapturing this once familiar scenery.
