The right to assault and batter political opponents is not guaranteed by the Constitution.

The right to freedom of the press is, however.

It would be nice if this president -- and his mindless, deplorable minions -- brushed up on the philosophy of the founders.

This is what fascism in the USA looks like. Somebody didn't like the sign and a police officer threatened the woman with arrest if she didn't surrender it.

An inconvenient truth both noted -- and yet ignored -- by the Trump administration.

I refuse to give shithead white supremacists (as if there were any other kind of white supremacists) any power over how I communicate. They have fucked with my life enough growing up. They do not deserve the power to limit my life now.

It's "OK," dammit!

Don't buy the mansplainin' in the comments. Her Nobel snub was precisely due to male bias against women in the sciences.

Remember, Crispus Attucks was a protester.

Of course, someone will have to explain to the Idiot-in-Chief who Crispus Attucks was.

You going to believe what you see, or what the Heritage Foundation, the Koch brothers and their ilk tell you?

I know the article is a month old, but the message is clear...

"Abruptly, the party became Trump’s hostage; Ryan, his court eunuch. Ryan stood mute as Trump vilified Muslims, shafted Dreamers, and separated refugees from their kids. He supported Devin Nunes in reducing the House Intelligence Committee to rabid pit bulls bent on killing the Russia investigation to protect Trump from impeachment. Cruelest of all, Trump signed a version of Ryan’s donor-driven fiscal fakery into tax law. Reality, indeed, bites.

"Thus ended Paul Ryan’s fatal deception. He becomes in history what he always was in fact — the avatar of a fiscally-ruinous wealth transfer to America’s 1 percent. His legacy? Trillion-dollar deficits with no end in sight, the largest explosion of peacetime debt in memory. Plutocracy beckons; a government stripped of solvency cannot serve the rest."

The trend has been clear. A lot of us just insist on ignoring it.
