Is your business spending too much time/effort/money promoting itself on Facebook, just to have to pay again to reach its fans? Why are you putting an intermediary between your relationship with your customer/fan?

Facebook seems like a lot of self advertising for little return. Much prefer using #googleplus or #twitter as a way of engaging with not only clients, but like minded people.
Nice post. i will be researching blogs and especially newsletters a lot more into the new year.
