Sunset from the Wicklow Mountains !
A small pano 3 images stitched. There wasn't much cloud around which I really need to set a sky off. I took this on the travels hope you like it :)

Sugar Loaf - Co-Wicklow, Ireland
I was out the other morning looking for something...but the farmer got to them first. Had a great chat with the guy! Really didn't mind me being on his land and he just said to keep safe. I'm dropping off a mounted print to say thank you tomorrow.
This is from a roadside POV. Caught my eye as I was passing by :)

'Fading Amber Light'
It's true to say I am drawn to this fence like a moth to a flame and this evening was no exception! It runs adjacent to the military road at the top of the Sally Gap. I love the way it draws you in to the image and disappears out of view.
Today was a beautiful day on the east coast. But as the day moved on the cloud seemed to increase and get thicker. All hope of a trip out to grab a few shots of the sunset were on hold! Luckily the cloud gave me a brief window of opportunity in the last couple of hours of daylight...so I headed up to the Sally Gap, candidly known to me as the last resort !
This image reminds me of a song 'Which way to Kyffin' written and performed by James Dean Bradfield of the Manic Street Preacher.

On my way to Lough Dan I decide to go via the Sally Gap. Stopped off at the 'Fence'
The wind chill must have been -10 and every few minutes there was snow in the air....great evening

Saturday Night Light.....Sunset on the Sally Gap. The sky wasn't looking great on the way up to the Gap. Luckily there was a break on the horizon
