I just watched the new Cosmos tonight.  I loved Carl Sagon in the original... I wasn't sure anyone could replace Carl but Neil deGrasse Tyson was great!

What if you read your obituary today?

Once upon a time, or in 1888 to be exact, an obituary was published for the wrong man. The man who was alive read his obituary and was stunned to read that his legacy was that of death and destruction. He was memorialized for one of his inventions; dynamited. The obituary called him the merchant of death and went on to say, "Dr. Alfred Nobel, who became rich by finding ways to kill more people faster than ever before, died yesterday."

This man decided to change his legacy, and change his future. This man was Alfred Nobel and he started the Nobel Peace Prize. Today when we hear the name of Nobel we don't think of dynamite but of peace. When we think of Martin Luther King we also remember a legacy of hope and struggle for peace and equality. In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King I want to take a moment in my life to think about peace and how I can contribute in my own small way.
