Powerful combination of genius in paint and prose! Thanks, Hoda
"We simply want to live, to live freely and in dignity!" How many times have I repeated this sentence? Countless times! I do so whenever violence erupts in my country and elsewhere. While peace is a widely used theme by som...

Right on Hoda! Bullying costs billions in direct cost to organisations, and infinite cost to individuals and their families that may last a lifetime. And to stop it, we need to work with people who are being bullied, but also with bullies (as you rightly say, often themselves disturbed emotionally in some way) and the vast majority of us, the silent bystanders who are in effect colluding with the bad behaviour.  In other words, the mouse, and the elephant, and the spectator.

Thanks for standing out against bullying!
I was recently involved in a Twitter chat relating to bullying at school. While this problem could have a devastating effect on children, people of any age can be affected by it. Bullying, intimidation and being picked on com...

Hope 2014 rocks my friends!  Normal service resumed soon.

To all my friends, old from last year, new form this year and yet to be met, an eternal wish from my country's national bard as we celebrate or contemplate 2014.

Let's share a metaphorical cup o' kindness with each other as we remember stories told and imagine those yet to be.

Happy New Year!

Hope you all have a wonderful HRockstar Christmas!
David Hain originally shared:

I have been forced to be off grid recently because my wife has hurt her leg and unable to function normally.  I really appreciate now how much she does!
Anyway, the situation is likely to remain like that for another week or so, and I hope to be able to resume normal service in the New Year.

Meanwhile to friends across the world I have met through this amazing medium, I wish you a happy, peaceful and fun-filled Christmas break. I hope next year is all you want it to be and a bit more, and I look forward to resuming our dialogues as soon as possible.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
