Summary:From productivity to email to operating systems to mobile to hardware, David Gewirtz is no longer actively using Microsoft products. He's not a Microsoft hater. The transition just happened organically as he adopted products that better served his needs.

I've wanted to know. Good stuff!

I have to agree. The Chromebook (which is the laptop form factor) gets far more use than the tablets.
Summary: Beyond specific verticals and specialized jobs, tablets are facing a usage problem with business professionals. They aren't winning as companion devices or convertibles, as we discuss in this week's Monday Morning Opener.

Now if you had an Asus T100 running Win8.1  with the included Microsoft Office for Home and Students it might be a different story. I have both the Samsung Chromebook and Asus T100 and both perform well.
