Did she really just say you don't take a human life (referring to her own) yet she killed 7 men?

I went here for brunch with friends on New Year’s Day with high expectations. My friends were here before and gave it rave reviews. Atmosphere was OK. This place is in downtown Chicago, so the exorbitant prices are kind of to be expected, but $16 for a ¼ pound burger, even with bacon ground into it, is overpriced in my opinion no matter how good it was. Again, it was all about the company and time with my friends, so I rolled with it all. Appetizers which were shared amongst the group. • “Bag” of Crisps & Eggs o These were actually pretty good. But at the end of the day, it is still $5 for a very small portion of 1 poached egg shaken over an oz. of potato chips. • Braised Beef Cheek Poutine $14 + 2$ for the egg o This had me saying to myself, ‘where is the beef? Where is the Wisconsin cheese?’ It was more like a cup of fries with an egg on top. It tasted fine, but it was still disappointing to my expectations. • Bag of Buttermilk & Vanilla Bean Doughnut Holes o Dry, bland and very underwhelming. My personal item • Wood Grilled Ground Bacon Burger Vermillion Blue + Shoestrings + Special Sauce $16 o Expensive, over-priced, small on portion size and didn’t live up to the hype or expectations. o It was good, but not great. o For $12.95, I could have had a burger (which is also my favorite… ever) at Au Cheval that would have been much more satisfying.  Food Network’s new series, “Top 5 Restaurants,” ranked the five best burgers in the country during a recent episode and named Au Cheval’s double cheeseburger -- which features three thin beef patties, two thick strips of maple-glazed bacon and house-made dijonaise – No. 1 on the list. Now for my real pet-peeve of the brunch. I ordered coffee ($5). The coffee was absolutely amazing. My wife who is from Peru and doesn’t generally have good things to say about American coffee agreed that the coffee was amazing. The problem then? It was a pretty small cup size. I asked if there was refills on the coffee and waiter said yes. The first and second cup of coffee was great. But our brunch lasted over two hours. Any subsequent cups of coffee after the first two were essentially just hot water. The coffee went from rich, dark roasted coffee to clear water that looked more like a light tea. The waiter even had the balls to comment to me that “if he had drank that much coffee he’d have gone to the bathroom several times.” And then the last time my wife and I asked for more coffee, he poured half of a cup to me and not even half of a cup for my wife. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Poor service, poor attitude. Overpriced small portions. Get better food elsewhere!

Excellent thin crust pizza! Plus, the wresting theme is pretty cool and the owner (Victoria from WWE) is very awesome.

A little on the pricey side, but the Sushi was excellent, nice decor, and excellent service. Highly recommend their Signature Nigiri over the rolls, especially the Unagi (eel) and Botan Ebi (shrimp).

Mid range hotel fairly priced in a good area of Lima. Felt safe, room was clean, hotel was quiet, and the staff was very friendly even though my spanish is horrible. Price was about $50 US a night.
