SHOULD PEOPLE BE ABLE TO FLY THEIR FLAG?
OK, let me start this by saying I am NOT a racist, and I do not like the confederate flag and what I have known it to stand for. But I feel that it's complete hypocrisy to have the US Government get involved and make it illegal...and tell retailers to take it down...here's why...

The US seems to think that if we regulate and try to hide things like this, the problem will just go away and we can unite people...but that will NEVER happen. There will always be racism...and classism...and sexism...I mean what next? Will we not be able to wear t-shirts with different sports teams? Riots have started based on these differences...so will we eventually be forced to all wear the same shirt?...fly the same flag?...wear the same shoes?...drive the same car?...drink the same soda?...and just all hide how we really feel?? Have no freedom of expression? Really? That is what made America great!

I personally feel like taking flags and signs down in shops that want to serve whites only or not serve gays...women...goats...whatever...is a mistake. I WANT to know who the racists, bigots and homophobes are. Do we think making them take down a sign helps? Not even close. All it does is make them madder...and then if a black person walks into a place to eat that is still racist, but does not have a sign..well who knows what they would do to their food...

PLUS...by removing the sign I am going into a place to eat and blindly supporting a racist. Hell, this person could be the Grand Dragon of the KKK and I just helped him support his cause...whereas if he had a sign out front, I could make an informed decision and not give him my money that supports racism moving forward by funding it.

The US flag was created by slave owners. It is responsible for the murder of millions of American Indians...hundreds of thousands of Japanese and countless millions of Muslims. It's still killing Muslims today!!

If you ask people around the world...the US Flag is the flag of the terrorists....and if you really look at it...the US Flag has done even more harm to this world than the Nazi flag...so I think that as much as we may hate the confederate and nazi flags for what they stand for...maybe we should look at what our US Flag stands for around the world...and start by making it illegal to fly the US Flag...at least until it stops killing people...in the name of peace and democracy. This flag has more blood on it than any other flag in history....yes even the new ISIS Flag.

So, Amazon...Wal-mart...and all stores that were ordered by the federal government to take down all confederate toys/games etc., maybe you should pull everything that has a US Flag as well...and unfortunately that means my man Captain America...because it has done FAR more harm than the confederate flag.

PLEASE! Support people wearing shirts and posting signs and flying their flags that say they are racists, homophobes, sexists and classists because then we can stay away from them and not blindly support them financially...and as they slowly go out of business...and people see the ignorance and we educate our kids...the problem could eventually fix itself.

What are YOU doing to save water?
You know, we waste millions of gallons of water every day in this world while some people cannot even get a drop to drink. It's time we start looking at ways to save this precious resource!

This is so true. I've tried to have rational conversation with many and it always ends up a stalemate.

+Hugh Briss A religion is a system of beliefs about how the world and man were made without direct proof to the contrary.  Atheists believe that there is no god.  Since there is no way to scientifically prove or disprove the existence of a deity, it is all on belief. As much as they don't want to be grouped with other religions sine they disagree with them, they are one whether they like it or not.

The only thing that wouldn't be a religion is saying "I don't know"

Just saw a movie that was 1 star rated on Netflix with Nicholas Cage Left Behind, and well since I always watch 1 and 2 star rated movies when I am tired so I do not feel bad for falling asleep, I decided to watch...and it says in the description:

"The entire planet is thrown into mayhem when millions of people disappear without a trace -- all that remains are their clothes and belongings. Unmanned vehicles crash and planes fall from the sky, overwhelming emergency forces and causing massive gridlock, riots and chaos. Airline pilot Ray Steele (Nicolas Cage) struggles to save the lives of the passengers who remain on his flight, while his daughter (Cassi Thomson) races to find her brother and mother, both of whom have disappeared."

Turns out, it's a christian propaganda film about the rapture. Very deceitful, but that is not the part that pisses me off...what REALLY pisses me off is that on the plane, when all the "christians" are "taken" there is a devout muslim, who had been praying and even offered to help people...showing his kindness, who was left behind. Just showing how freaking ruthless they are in thinking THEY are the only ones who have it right out of THOUSANDS of religions.

This crap filled hatred toward people who are "different" is what started me on my path to atheism back when I was 17...and why I am even more so today. It's ignorance in it's greatest form.

I try to accept and embrace everyone regardless of any of that, but it is hard when the people who represent a man that supposedly would embrace ANYONE embrace only those just like them....

Anyway, rant over. Remember...

Matthew 7:3-5:
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Too many people allow themselves to be suffocated by the "rules" other people make. Why? Because... "That's just the way it is." or "I can't be selfish." or "I won't be rude by questioning those in authority." I recently had the AMAZING opportunity to do a TEDx speech here in Dallas. Introduction
I have been a social media marketer going on 3 years. I have been an Internet marketer for over 14. I was a spammer back when that meant entrepreneur.

I have always worked hard for what I have and never went to college. I did however tour some colleges just out of high school playing music, so I guess I lived the life without the large loans. I never liked working for other people.

I always knew that someone else was making a fortune from my hard labor; I built houses and then sold cars. I do what I love and love what I do!

My wife and I just love Aloft properties. One main reason is they are dog friendly, and the rooms and beds are cozy. We have never had a negative experience. People are friendly, and the XYZ bar is a nice place to chill and have a couple drinks.

I cannot believe how bad their service is based on what I had heard from others, and I am not just talking about this store...Justin was great, but the other 2 people I had to deal with pushed me to call their phone support instead of them helping me, which I think is absurd. My overall experience with Sprint was horrible, and I will NEVER use them again, now will I be telling any of my friends/contacts to either. They had a chance to gain a loyal customer and they chose not to.

This is my go to theatre in Tallahassee. It is clean, and they have IMAX! I mean, do you want to watch a movie, or do you want to EXPERIENCE a movie? If you have not yet done the IMAX experience, I highly recommend it. They also have a bar where you can get in the "mood" if that's your thing. It's a win win really. Allows me to take my wife to super hero movies. She can drink wine, I can get into the action. It's a win win!

I have been working with Valik for going on 6 years now. Anytime I need ANY wordpress work done, he is the first person I contact. His rates are very reasonable and he is based right here in the US. I cannot say enough about working with Valik. I have even got to know his family over the years. Once you find a genuine, real and honest person it is hard to go with anyone else, and I have never once been disappointed with Valik and his work. Work ethic is amazing. Thanks Valik for all you have done! Really appreciate you!

Overall, my wife and I had a good time. It was nice that we could bring our chihuahua, and she enjoyed it. It did cost an extra $70+/night, but she is worth it. Just be prepared if you travel with your pet. I guess that, to me, is not really "pet friendly" as they claim. It was not like she got an extra bed and bottled water. Also, be prepared to have a lot of $1 bills in your pocket, because they try to do everything for you. Including coming into your room when you step out and turning on your radio with ocean sounds. It really bordered on creepy. Now, I know when you are at a spa, you kind of expect to be pampered, but my wife and I felt it was a bit too much. I mean, who does not like to be pampered? But come on...entering my room after I check in, and before I check out, unless I specifically request it, is enough. I am one who would turn down turn down service if asked, but here we got it anyway, and maybe I am just not used to "spa treatment". Overall, the people were really friendly, and now that we know what to expect, we would have a few requests when we stayed, but if you are looking for pampering, then you will love this place. I assure you, this is not a negative review, just want you to know exactly what to expect.
