When it comes to research, Minnesota publishes more — and gets cited more — than the national average.

If no data was compromised I'm curious what the attackers were after. Penn State credentials are worth something, but are they alone worth an attack of this scale?

These stories MUST be shared so we can all gain a understating of the real threat environment.

It's a rigged game, and the powers that be aren't even trying to hide that fact. Let's spread the word to bring awareness to this epidemic and hopefully spark change.

Man, is that depressing! I was generally aware of the absurdity of the
situation, but this presents it in such stark terms. It generally leaves me
with no one to vote for, either, even though I live in what is arguably the
most "liberal" state in the Union... one controlled by the prison guards
and a few powerful public sector groups. It is almost impossible to get
elected if they oppose you, regardless of party.

Not surprisingly, the prison guards are always supportive of building new
prisons.

Personally the most depressing thing is the increasing inequality between men and women college grads.

The soil, the fertilizer, the modus vivendi for inequality is the successful turning of the working classes in each geographical area against each other and using that "Roman forum" as a diversion of real focus on the oligarchs undeclared ripoff of the wealth of the markets and their rational diversion of where the real focus ought to be; on their plundering.

Does it begin to ring true that
Senator Warrens rejection of TPP or NAFTA or European open markets is just another piece of their pie?

Do you like pie? How about pue with no filling? How about no filling, no plate and no fork? Will you want a table or a chair or can you eat it standing up; outside; in the rain!

Delta has out done themselves with this safety video. The humor in their safety videos the last few years has been wonderful, and made a necessary part of air travel fun and maybe even increased safety by getting people to actually pay attention to something that is so frequently boring and just ignored. Please watch it to the very end, it's hilarious.

😀😀😀

Delta sticks internet culture in a blender, comes up with this hilariously satisfying safety video http://tnw.me/tXXyzo5
What happens when Delta calls on Nyan Cat, Lana (Overly Attached Girlfriend), and the Taylor Swift Goat to star in a video detailing safety procedures on Delta flights? Hilarity. Delta ...

Very proud of the North Highland and University of Minnesota Program Team for quietly deploying an $84 million ERP last month. It was a challenging and complex program touching over 100,000 faculty, students and staff in all business areas and campuses. In the world of failed system implementations, it is exciting to be part of one that goes as planned - and under budget.  Special thanks and gratitude for the great commitment of the University ex...

I like the BeyondCorp concept, especially its use of an untrusted network even for managed devices.

Why we're just about to retire the corporate intranet: it's not secure.
