Here's a philosophical question: Is IS worse than the Inquisition?  Pogroms in Russia?

So, I guess Obama should have said something like this instead when he was being asked whether he thought the media sometimes overstates the level of alarm people should have about terrorism and this kind of chaos, as opposed to a longer-term problem of climate change and epidemic disease?!

Because we all know our foreign policy is controlled by our concern for Jewish people above all else. Because after all, they are the “Chosen People,” and the President’s foremost job is to combat and condemn antisemitism—not protect the American people. So it’s entirely appropriate to invoke antisemitism when addressing the justification for our use of force in the newly declared war against ISIS. Oh yeah, that would be really good forJews politically!

I get so sick of this political gotcha BS. Read the quote in context for a change as opposed to listening to a windbag like Bill O'Reilly, or something a friend posted on FB.

Enlightenment also is needed for ascertaining the crooks who have raped the coffers of the United States of America and all you hear are the baa baa's of the clueless as they vote them in.

Before this one, I had never been involved in a case that had been featured on “The First 48.” The more I learned about the case—and how the show insinuated itself directly into the homicide investigation—the more disgusted I became.

A Miami-Dade judge had thrown out a confession in a 2006 beating death that was taped and aired on the popular show.

Took this picture on Monday when I was with my son at the little park on your left, right when you get to North Miami from Bay Harbor Islands. They are in the process of rebuilding the pier. We sneaked past the "Danger - Construction" signs, and walked out into the mangroves... and the view was breathtaking

There's no better feeling than going to the mat for your client, and them knowing that you did. That's the kind of job satisfaction money can't buy.

We are the sum of our choices. Admittedly, some of us have better ones to pick from. Nonetheless, play to win with the cards you're dealt.

If I had a flag in front of my house, it would be at half mast tomorrow.

An assistant public defender in San Francisco was handcuffed and arrested at the criminal courthouse after she objected to police officers questioning her client outside a courtroom, an incident that her office called outrageous and police officials defended as appropriate.

The cop may have been technically correct, but there is certainly something disquieting about the police officers arresting an officer of the court for "obstructing / resisting" in the hall just outside the courtroom. As the eminently quotable Anonymous once said: "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should."

I sound like someone who responds to progressives the way they talk to others. thats a whole lot of assumptions you threw out there, Sam.  keep telling yourself how awesome you are. im sure youre empty bed and vibrator think you're great too. As for angry, LOL, no, Im pretty happy. My mood doesnt really have anything to do with addressing you the way you address others. Maybe your narcissistic nature leads you to conclude there is? Its amusing the mouthy little progressive girl gets even more uppity when people address her in kind, and  its amusing also that you get indignant about it. But, bless your heart, you just cant help yourself, can you?

Jeff Berman is a top-notch lawyer. I have referred several false arrest cases to Jeff in the past year and have been impressed with both his diligence and compassion. While many plaintiff's attorneys sit on their cases, Jeff conscientiously moves the ball forward trying to get justice for his clients. I will continue to refer clients to him and can't recommend him highly enough to potential clients seeking representation in injury and false arrest cases.

While many attorneys have a general practice, Mr. Lupella limits his practice exclusively to criminal defense. He has been on both sides of the criminal justice system: he prosecuted cases for the State of Florida as well as represented countless defendants as an assistant public defender. I recommend Mr. Lupella without reservation to anyone facing criminal charges in the Emerald Coast area.

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants! The owner is always there and it shows. Food is always cooked to order and fresh. There doesn't seem to be any turnover in the wait staff. Service is always excellent.

I have known Ruth Johnson for a number of years and can attest that she is a consumate advocate for her clients. It's easy to fall for the song and dance marketing of all those personal injury attorneys telling you how rich they've made all their clients. But what matters most is compassion and justice. Ruth goes the extra mile for her clients and sees them as human beings--not as paydays. She will continue to be at the top of my list for referring personal injury and accident cases.
