Introduction
I'm a fan of most anything doing with technology.  Home Theater, Mobile, Software Development, science fiction, gaming (both console and board games).  In the past I've run MUDs (multi-user dungeions for you old school folks, for you youngsters, they were the original MMOs.)

I have interests in landscaping, particularly around watergardens.  Oh and Beer, I like beer as well, especially craft beers.  One of these days I'll actually try brewing my own, but haven't done so yet.

If you follow me, be prepared for lots of tech talk, and griping about the Blue Jackets, and Columbus Crew.   Was a former US Soccer referee for 10 years as well.   I don't follow back everybody that follows me, so expect me to check your content, if I find it interesting and you have posts, then I'll follow you back.

Another 500 pt furball. Yes the Decimators wilted quickly as they had no place to hide. They came back strong though the second wave.

Yeah, the way I fly a shuttle, he'll be good on it.  I rarely get more than a shot or two with it in actual combat.  So with Palpatine on the shuttle, it will give more options for him to mess with things if the other side ignores the shuttle.   Unlike Vader crew on a Shuttle, Palpatine doesn't have to be directly involved in an attack to use.  He can sit on the out skirts and bolster his sides dice rolls.    The other side then has a choice, do they leave Palpatine's shuttle alone, or do they just try to take it out first leaving themselves vulnerable to a flaking maneuver by the shuttle escort.

Imperials and a couple of Wookies are now complete. Have about 7 miniatures left from the core set to finish painting.

A shot from tonight's 500pt five player furrball. Each player brought 100pts. Last man standing wins. I flew a scum build of Kate, palob, abs serisu. Haven't flown scum before so it was a good learning experience and fun.

Btw +Nigel Cox I'd check Amazon.ca as they have it for $99 CAD but as low as $54. Oh and there is a Bobafet expansion pack coming soon.

So here is a fun little Scum list I have been running.  It has given a Whisper + Sontir + Shuttle list a bit of trouble.

http://xwing-builder.co.uk/view/254028/scum-fun

Kath + Predator + Gunner
Serissu + Calculation + Mangler Cannon
Palob + Mold Crow + Blaster Turrett

Most people have come into the habit of ignoring the Hwk-290s if they see them, which in this case, the longer you leave Palob on the board the more of a pain he becomes.   Serissu is there to provide a defensive boost to Kath, and Kath with gunner and predator, especially out the rear arc is just brutal.  Particularly at range 1 rolling 5 dice.

I need to fly it some more, but so far it has given some highly competitive builds fits.

I agree with the first part: never go to a Starbucks. The Sunday part is redundant.

It's a local bar, and despite what the site says, it isn't permanently closed. If you are looking for a high class place then this isn't it, but if you want a good atmosphere, and good people, then it is a good place to just hang out and veg.
