A seriously interesting look at the Scene and the source of some of the biggest leaks in music over the past two decades.

That's great to hear. I am having so many issues with my N6 right now that I just want the image so I can wipe my phone and flash the new image. Guess I will flash the 5.1 image to my Nexus devices that have images available and see if I like it

Really excited about these new features coming to +QCast Music!  Help us test the beta.

We've got some awesome news: a new beta is rolling out now with Spotify support and Device playback!

You can now use your Spotify Premium account with QCast.  It works just the same way that Google Play Music does - sign in with your account, and everyone who joins the party will be able to search and add songs from your subscription.

As an added bonus, you can mix and match songs from Spotify and Google Play!  If you're started a Spotify party, each participant (host or guest) will also have the option to sign in with Google, making all of their uploaded/library songs available to the party as well.

Device playback is an awesome feature that allows you to use your phone or tablet as the music playback device for QCast, instead of needing to use a Chromecast or web browser.  Plug your device in while you're driving, or into any set of speakers, for an instant solution.

We hope you enjoy these new features.  They required a re-write of a lot of core QCast components, so we are in particular need of your help testing and reporting any bugs you find so that we can get this polished and ready for release as soon as possible!

It's currently not possible to use both Moto 360 and +Google Glass  for notifications - it's one or the other.  And switching is pretty clunky.

It looks like Glass is acting as an Android Wear device, and as such, can't coincide with the Moto 360.  It's either one or the other, and switching between the two is going to be really painful.

This must be a limitation of Android Wear, and a very shortsighted one at that.  Did Google really expect people to only have one wearable device ever?

What's strange is that MyGlass and Android Wear show up as seperate services in the Notification Permissions settings, but it's clear that Glass is taking over and acting as a Wear device, thereby blocking out the Moto 360 or whatever watch you have.

I really hope this can be fixed soon.  This feature is all but useless with this limitation in place..

After a few too many of these for one day, I'm ditching Chrome for Firefox on desktop and Android. So far so good.

#tbt  to Google I/O 2012 (hey, look at those cool people at the front in the video thumbnail!)

A lot has changed.  +Vic Gundotra and +Hugo Barra are no longer at Google.  The Nexus Q is no longer, but it's been reincarnated in Android TV and Chromecast (and, I like to think, in my app +QCast Music).  The +Google Glass Explorer program has come to a close.

But on the flipside, Chrome and Android have both grown in popularity even more than anyone could have imagined.  The tools Google offers to developers, from Android to App Engine, have greatly improved.

Here's looking forward to #io15 !

Whatever you think of the PULS, this is a very well done video.  Love the FIRST robot cameo at 0:51
