Eikos at high water about noon Saturday. The tops of those pilings are normally 13 feet above the water level! The dock is under about 6 feet of water, and you can't even see the tops of the short pilings as they're submerged.

That is amazing to realize how high the storm surge was. Thank goodness that you and your family have weathered the storm. Eikos looks like none the worst for wear. Good Luck with all the cleanup shows that folks in Oriental navigate storms as well as rivers, bays and oceans. Good to see Elko "riding well."
