I mentally upvote other technophiles that have username domains of the first-initial, last name variety. Especially when the top-level domain is the last few letters of their last name. Tim Pope and Dustin Curtis do this. Mine, of course, is (And mine has the additional bonus that it works for, too.)

People who bother to do this seem to have an aesthetic that favors the minimal.
