I would be a perfectionist, but I'm not good enough.

The boys were playing with my phone and Seb managed to get a great shot of Isaac.

Some days there are only small things. The sun sets and the trees outside my office pick up a tinge of orange.

Bristol, Millennium Square. A rare moment of blue sky and calm after the stormy weather of the last few days.

I forgot to post this yesterday. A very cold and wet cycle ride into work. Fortunately I was alone in the office, so nobody minded me drying my socks!

Only one candidate for today's photo of the day. It has to be the shoe collection. I gave my new Asics Gel DS Trainer 19 shoes their first run. Shoes lovely. Annoying niggle in my left leg not so much. A frustrating period of cross training and rehab ahead.

There are lots of choices for today's image. Homemade pizzas for lunch being devoured by the boys, Seb & Isaac charging around on their wheely bees, or our curtain rail falling off the wall. But, for its extreme rarity, the winner is the bucket, sponge and ever reliable Turtle Wax for my semi annual car valet.

Normally I'm all in favour of glorious clear skies and amazing views of stars. But for some reason, tonight is probably not the night. Maybe it's got something to do with sleeping in a tent in the edge of a tiny village in the middle of the Brecon Beacons.
Fortunately there is an excellent and warm pub. I cannot wait to tackle the real ales in here tomorrow after I've earned them.
