Just back from Oman building e-accessibility in the Middle East... and absolutely thrilled that so many people downloaded our Accessibility Ribbon for Word that we released for #GAAD
Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2015! You can still get your free ribbon and read all about it at... https://davidberman.com/ribbon
Here's the news release on it if you'd like to know more:
==============================================Ribbon-cutting for our Accessibility Ribbon for Word!
A tip of the hat to everyone who attended our recent webinars with ThreePlay and the CMA, where we announced our Accessibility Ribbon for Word.
Now, in celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2015 on May 21 (www.globalaccessibilityawarenessday.org
) we’re officially launching the ribbon!
The Berman Accessibility Ribbon is an add-on to Microsoft Word for Windows (versions 2010, 2013, and 2016). The add-on will be free donationware: if you choose to donate, you’ll be supporting accessibility initiatives ... we are starting in our first year with Carleton University's READ Initiative.

Install the Berman Accessibility Ribbon into your Microsoft Word to make it easier to create and maintain accessible files from Word. The ribbon will help you create documents that are accessible for everyone and that comply with W3C's WCAG 2.0 criteria, as well as PDF/UA (these are the criteria that regulations such as ADA and AODA point to).
And to learn everything you need to know to create accessible documents using Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, or LiveCycle Designer, why not join us at our next public accessibility course? www.davidberman.com/next
(our next course is in Toronto at OCAD University June 29... seats available! Early bird deadline: May 29).
