Latest upgrades have been less-than-stable.

KB became unresponsive, got ANR. May be related to clipboard functionality (xposed module as well). Also occurred on Cromatik, likely memory related.

If recurs, I can try running alogcat while tapping around, see if it show anything.

Dig the new Swiftkey beta. Likely to become another bloated monster and excludes amrv6 devices. Boo-hiss!

But its "auto-correction" is worth a look. Ours is an unholy pain.
Features:
1. Reserve judgement until fuller context available, i.e. a few words.
2. Backspace key restores originally typed text rather than removing the word(s)--better idea and likely easy to implement.

O Keyboard still the best lightweight KB around!

One longstanding request (again to step over the "big boys"): Poll settings->language and input->speech recognition and respect the choice made there!!

1. I have thought about implementing it in the future.
Currently, you can try next-word prediction, after enabled, Multiling O Keyboard will start learning your sentences.
After a certain period, you may type something like 'idliketo' and it will autocorrect it to "I'd like to"

Want to know if a battery is dead? See if it BOUNCES: Engineer claims simple trick reveals if a cell has lost its charge

Want to know if that egg is hard-boiled or not. Spin it. The hard egg spins nicely, the soft egg quickly stops. Same idea: Viscous damping.

(Nothing to do with bothersome canines spoiling ones enthusiasm, physics, not puns. :-) )
Daily Mail Online
Cincinnati-based electrical engineer Lee Hite put the theories to the test by bouncing good and bad batteries through a tube (pictured). He then opened them to discover how they differed inside.

Those who successfully installed 4.4.3 Omniroms:

Using Xposed. Installer and certain modules requiring root, writing to system work?

Using sysctl tweaks and other init.d scripts which write to system. Working?

Old faithfuls like Titanium, etc. Work?

Anyone with older devices needing link2sd, works?

MIght be very interesting:

Face recognition (ubiquitous by now) > portraits. If recognizing identicals, portraits->soandso
Majority human forms, multiple faces --> people
Minority or none, distinct background--> scenery

Doable?

Thanks a real bunch! Yes, it was premeditated. The bastard cased the joint and they went straight after the Rosh Kolel, HaRav Twersky (hy"d). Where are our illustrious president and state department? Look over your shoulders and avoid the train? This is the best they can do?

I think that the murder of U.S. citizens (anywhere in the world), especially because of their faith, begs a stronger response from the U.S. government. At least give us some consolation: Send Jonathan Pollard home.

If I can use it on an LG P500, then it will go on the Galaxy.

Trim the ROM before flashing. The conventional wisdom with phones with multi-gigs on /system is to include the kitchen sink there. Convenient, but ...

Stuff like the calendar, usually galleries and cameras, Google Search, most all browsers, emails, file managers, all of it can and should be installed as user apps. Install most from Play, anythings else by side-loading.

BTW,  many of the socalled system apps from Play get upgraded automatically anyway, leaving the ROM's versions on system simple wasting space.

Guys.. is there anyway to enlarge /system partition?? S2 default size is too small, I think..

OpenDelta Discussion  -

Opendelta seems to only download whole ROMs which is not particularly useful. Even if proper deltas were available, I fear this not being usable on my old device (LG P500 Armv6). This is because ROMs are not simply flashed as-is (will not fit system space) but need be trimmed and we all do this differently. Heard tell that the deltas would cancel customization which would be more than an inconvenience--could render phone unbootable.

Would like to see this feature work like: If file exists and has changes, change it. Leave off what I have removed, leave on what I have added.

Hello to OmniROM community!

Running on LG P500 Armv6 Dinosaur. Armv6 project on XDA. Love it.

Did not have the best experiences with Cm-11 so went to Omni.

Works OK on my LG P500. A bit slow to get up but this phone is not exactly a screamer.

Looking forward to editing functions. However, there are other apps around that do these well so might think of what to include.
