Literally just said something about this.

I think it's conceivable that Nexus could coexist with pixel as it did last year when they released two Nexus devices and a pixel device.

I'm not going to get my hopes too high, but at least I don't feel as crazy as I did before thinking these things.

If you thought the Nexus line was dead, guess again.
With Google seemingly going all-in on "Pixel" for 2016, we'd assumed the Nexus line was dead. That belief fostered deep down inside of us early on due to long-time rumors that Google was looking to move on from the brand. But one trustworthy individual says "Nexus isn't dead."

Despite the negative reviews and the fact that it's a reboot/sequel of an older franchise, I'm going to see Blair Witch tonight.

I'll go in with lowered expectations as I generally do for highly anticipated films, and I'm not just going because I love horror, or because I'm interested to see Adam Wingard's take on it, but because I missed the opportunity to see the original when it came out, and though I loved the second movie and saw it in theaters, I just know I'd kick myself for not going to see this in the big screen while I can....

Bonus this is the first big screen movie I'll see in Autumn, though it's still muggy and hot down here.

There's so much shit posting around here.

Where was this when I was diy-ing effects pedals and noise generators? Oh the soldering iron burns.... Memories
ScanR is a simple to use Android app that scans resistors using your device's camera and shows you their resistance.

+Dave Kessler I believe it, quality parts cost and for the most part seem to be used for a reason. I've used junk parts in a guitar and it works, but you can tell. I imagine in an amp it would be even more obvious.

Just got this album for my birthday. I'm listening to it now, and Lamb of God have yet to disappoint, consistently providing the sound and style I expect from them. So few bands are capable of growing while staying true to their sound.

I just rated The Gift (2015) a "Must Go!" on Fandango. What did you think of it?
Can you really go through life having never wronged anyone? Even if you are unaware of how, or when, and even who you may have wronged….chances are there is someone out there ...

How are they possibly going to outdo this hype next year?
"2017's October announcement is so big you're going to forget last year we told you the announcement would be the biggest thing since we announced Android"

No, Andromeda doesn't seem to matter to me much, not as much as Android's release, though, admittedly, at the time Android's release didn't matter much to me either it wasn't until I found out they were a more affordable and open alternative to iOS/iPhones that I took any interest, by then they were transitioning to gingerbread and had started growing their app store and the development community had been blossoming.

Maybe my imagination is failing, but I can't imagine what they'll say that won't disappoint most of us.

The only thing I'd like to hear is that Nexus isn't dead and they're going to release them as less-expensive developer phones alongside the pixel consumer phones.

I like pretty things, too (love my 6p) but I would rather have all the fun tinkery stuff the development community puts forth at an affordable for upgrading yearly/bi-yearly. I'm not going to spend $700 a year on a phone to keep up with three hype.

Time to crank the excitement level up to 11!
Based on the dozens or rumors and leaks we've reported on over the past few months, we know that Google is planning to unveil a handful of products on October 4th. In addition to two Pixel-branded phones, we're also expecting Google Home (Google's answer to Amazon Echo) and Chromecast Ultra which will allow users to stream content in 4K. While the launch of these new devices will be significant for Google, Hiroshi Lockheimer's latest Tweet implie...

General Discussion  -

Is there a list somewhere of which themes include sounds, fonts and boot animations?

I just switched to a ROM which supports these features after using stock with legacy support, and I'm now interested in playing with the different sounds.

Mono by +De Jan offers two different presets, but I was wondering if other themes, I've not tried yet have them too. I figured I'd ask about all the extras since, I'll eventually be interested in them, too.

I didn't see it mentioned in the pinned post, and I haven't seen it asked recently, but if it is somewhere obvious, my bad. 😬 I give you permission to beat me about the head with whatever you desire🥓🍄🍇🥑🍼🍪🐩🥔

My advice: you could try emailing the developer asking them (politely) if they have the extras in their themes. Also, if you have unlimited data, you could try downloading the themes to see if they have the extras. Hope I helped

#Navi by +Tha PHLASH looks really nice.

I've yet to use it, but if I get this promo code or not, I'll definitely check it out.

Oddly enough, I usually use the stock digital face from my moto 360, as it provides time and date in a quick glance, but I'm interested in fancy stuff every now and then, too.

Ask A Question? (Themers only)  -

When did you guys add this feature? (The direct link to install a layer) or is this something in the ROM I'm using (broken)? It works, by the way.

Will it treat all apks as layers or does it know that the specific apk is a layer?

Beta testers for paid app wanted (will be refunded the money and get to keep the app).

PM me you email address so I can add it to beta testers list.

Only devices without softkeys (such as Samsung's and not as Nexus) because otherwise it would be useless

Thanks

Booked ahead and got a wonderful price for a King Bed room with a loft. It felt very cozy and our room had a couch downstairs with kitchenette, TV, coffee table, desk and balcony. Upstairs was the bed, bathroom and another TV atop the dresser. Would have loved to have stayed longer, and plan on returning next time we need to stay in the area.

Very comfortable and spacious for the price. Had a microwave, refrigerator and stove; even had a fireplace (no wood, though). Dishes, bowls, silverware, cups and glasses were provided. Decent tv and love seat, and dining chairs. Only stayed one night, would have loved to stay more.

Wonderful experience, immersive and self-contained getaway. As a Florida resident, this was quite a feat. It's Disney, and I felt treated like a VIP, we had such a lovely time in our super comfy room, at the pools, and in their restaurants. 2 nights felt like a month (in a good way)
