Just too many intellectual property traps anymore...
How your business could get sued for using Pinterest

Gosh, eye-opening article, citing Pinterest's TOS regards the selling of images.

Hmmm.

I just checked Facebook's TOS as they are similar -- but Facebook says "use" not "sell."

Pinterest TOS:

We may, in our sole discretion, permit Members to post, upload, publish, submit or transmit Member Content. By making available any Member Content through the Site, Application or Services, you hereby grant to Cold Brew Labs a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free license, with the right to sublicense, to use, copy, adapt, modify, distribute, license, sell, transfer, publicly display, publicly perform, transmit, stream, broadcast, access, view, and otherwise exploit such Member Content only on, through or by means of the Site, Application or Services. Cold Brew Labs does not claim any ownership rights in any such Member Content and nothing in these Terms will be deemed to restrict any rights that you may have to use and exploit any such Member Content.

Facebook's TOS:

"For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos (IP content), you specifically give us the following permission, subject to your privacy and application settings: you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you post on or in connection with Facebook (IP License). This IP License ends when you delete your IP content or your account unless your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it."

Thoughts? Any lawyers in the G+ house?!

As much as I admire Apple, I have to say their IP practices leave a sour taste. I had to chuckle at the picture from this post.
thank you Apple for proving again, what you became! A company that's constantly stealing generic procedures and methods from other coders and designers, to turn them into a patent and use them against your competitors.

Cupertino doesn't care about the customers. They don't care about revolutionizing the educational market and they especially don't care about how their products are made!

It's all about the profit and the greed of the shareholders. "Think different" my ass, it's embarrassing to know how much money i've transfered into your system for the last 25 years. It's embarrassing that i actually thought you were different and cool!

You Apple turned into the superlative of an evil, capitalistic corporation and your trivial patents like slide to unlock, words suggestion, multiple source search and turning data into links, are revealing your DNA.

It's not about the digital revolution, it's about controlling markets and fighting competition!

‎"The best journeys answer questions that in the beginning you didn’t even think to ask." Watching "180 South".

Early morning OC-6 paddle with Hui Nalu. We went out looking for whales, but no luck. Lots of fetch, bounced around, and plenty of bailing the canoe. I sat #1 seat so I got the best ride of all. +Steven Mandzik I will be sure to let you know the first time we hear the songs through the canoe hull this year.
