Dave is in process of fixing and installing a new power button and hinge for my laptop. Best Buys Geek Squad wanted me to ship my laptop out which would cost more and take more time. So I decided to check Dave’s Computers out glad I did! First time coming in the shop today cool environment, Dave seems like an easy going guy with reasonable pricing and reliable quick services. He even spent a good amount of time chatting with me about an array of topics. Definitely returning to him for all my computer needs. Mike S

My computer was running soooooooooooooooo slowwwwwwwwwww it was driving me crazy. Each time I needed to use the internet, it would take forever to do a search and most of the time the computer would freeze up forcing me to unplug it and reboot it. Misery was me. Sitting in Austin TX I found a deal on Angie's List using Dave's Computers in NJ. It was the best decision I could have made in retrospect. Dave contacted me very quickly, set up a time to work remotely with my computer; the process was easy and all of my concerns were addressed. Dave ran scans that found malware and my very slow, very sick computer is now good as new in less than an hour. The price was very fair. I recommend this man and his business without reservation.

Dave provides excellent service. He was able to fix my dc jack on my laptop and upgrade my wifi card. All of this work was done in a professional manner and pace. Not to mention, he offers spectacular prices (especially if you are a Rutgers University student). I checked out many other companies that had the ability to repair my laptop, but none of their staff could provide me with the assurance that Dave relays through his expertise. I would definitely go to him again and I recommend him to anybody with computer problems. He will assuage your feelings of uneasiness and fix your computer in no time.

David is very helpful and patient. The job gets done. The location is central for the area. He solved the problem quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend him over any chain store around.

WOW, a week ago I was trying to figure out what I was going to do with missing a Terabyte of lost data (Videos) when out of the blue my Seagate Passport Drive for no reason just stopped working. I took it to a tech friend and he said there is nothing he can do, and to contact the manufacturer and see if they do data recovery. I contacted seagate passport (which I have been loyal to) and was told that they subcontract their data recovery specialist and sent me to them. I was told if they could recover my drive it would be between $650 to $1,500.00. In a panic I went online and googled Data Recovery Gillette NJ and found Dave's Computers. I went to his website and got an instant chat with a professional, that asked me a few questions about the drive. I was told to bring the drive by so he could diagnose the drive. I brought my drive to him on Saturday and picked up my new drive with all of my old drive data on Monday for hundreds of dollars less than $650.00. I always back up my drives weekly, but got lazy over the holidays. Instead of paying the price by telling clients I messed up and have to offer a ton of free work to fix the problem, I am on schedule and have all of my data!! Two weeks ago I did not even know about Dave's Computers and today I have programmed his number on my cell and became a Facebook fan. Thanks Dave

Great Service from Dave's. He gave me an honest estimate on the service life and repair costs of my laptop and repaired it quickly. I appreciated his quality service and honest opinion and will return to him for all of my future service needs. In this day and age, why dump a perfectly good computer when you can take it to Dave's for repair! Thanks, JC

How to make Windows 7 look more like Windows XP. Hands up if this will make transitioning to Windows 7 easier! http://ow.ly/vwuJh
The single most visible change in Windows 7 is the new “dock style” taskbar, which shows icons instead of buttons, with all application windows combined within a single button. I’m quite certain that the very first question many people will have is “How do I turn it off?”, and this article will show you how.
