I called Dave Smith on Saturday and had what might be one of the worst experiences I've ever had trying to buy a car. After talking with sale guy, which was largely a positive experience, he called back with the finance manager who proceeded to try and shove a payment down my throat for a vehicle I had never heard of. Some slight confusion, but not the end of the world. The payment was far above what I was looking to pay. They went back, found another truck which was exactly what I wanted. The payment was then higher than the previous truck. When I asked what the price of the truck was, the sales guy quoted me one price via email. While on the phone with the finance manager, I was trying to get the figures that went into the lease configuration so I could understand how they came up with the payment. The price was suddenly lower. When I tried to ask why the price changed, the finance manager continued to talk over me. When I spoke up (not yelling), and stated that we weren't going to get anywhere with him talking over me (something he did during both conversations), he told me I was too stupid to understand what a great price I was getting and then hung up on me. I've had a number of friends and family that have bought vehicles from Dave Smith. They were appalled to hear of my story and completely turned off from wanting to work with them in the future.

So sad. After a year of buying a used 2013 Mega Cab Longhorn 2500 Dodge Ram I have just found out I did not receive a jack kit for my spare or to even change a tire on my truck I have to purchase a complete kit. Over 380.00. My husband and I would never have checked to see if our truck came with a jack assembly kit. I called Dave Smith Motors with a reply too bad its been too long. Seriously? Not even a discount. They said that they would call back but no reply. We are disappointed. We would have thought better service after spending the amount of money we gave them. :-(

I purchased a 2017 RAM 3500 and had an unbelievably positive experience from the first phone call to the picking up of the vehicle. The purchase was made over the phone but I did make a special trip to Dave Smith Motors so I could meet the "players". Chuck Sciortino orchestrated from day one to make sure I was getting the proper answers to my questions and needs. I was planning on purchasing a Ford F-350 in Mesa, AZ and I was so impressed with Chuck, his follow through and the discussions with Stephanie, Luke and Zieg, that I bought the RAM. A CRAZILY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. Thank you Dave Smith Motors; you will see me again.

I do not wish my experience on anyone.I buy new trucks every year and thought that I would try Dave Smith. If I could cancel the deals I would but they hold you hostage with the non-refundable deposit. If this was a stand up dealership they would refund my deposits and let me purchase from a dealership that I would feel more comfortable with. They never advised me that after they have been funded I would have to wait over 3 weeks to get my trucks.

I am just blown away with the great service provided by Earl Nelson. He answers every question and meets every request with a smile. Between Earl and the finance team at Dave Smith, we got the exact vehicle we wanted at an "all world" price, and the financing we desired. The service department has also been excellent. Next week we are bringing our son up to Kellogg to get him in a vehicle, and we know Earl will be there for us! We feel blessed, truly fortunate, to be able to buy our vehicles from Dave Smith. Recently bought a new Jeep from Dave Smith Motors. From first contact to driving off the lot it was an excellent experience. I got exactly the car I wanted for an extremely good price. Everyone at DSM from the salesman to the service manager (who they actually introduced me to) were very professional and clearly happy to have my business. I would definitely recommend Dave Smith to anyone considering a new car.
