Pictures from the "pop up restaurant" I ran last weekend in my living room. We got 8 people and prepared 4 'to-go' servings of street-style Asian food. Cousin Brian made showstopping meat pies.

I wrote an update about what I've been up to for the past couple of months. Basically, I've been in a low-energy non-productive state, purposefully trying to avoid any planful activity related to work and personal projects. Instead, I practiced making better pizza in my oven, reorganized my living room and basement, hosted my cousin for a two-week cooking investigation, and ran a pop-up cafe over the weekend in my house.

Trying out another form of virtual coworking with this "hangout on air" feature. I can try to invite people into the hangout which would be cool. Will be working on super-boring Javascript network code refactoring on the Mac while hanging out on the PC. Whee! Taste the fun!  Will run until around noon Boston time.

DAY 044-045 - I thought I would write a simple script outline for an "introduction video" for the new Patreon supporter page. I also recorded myself writing the outline, and tried turning it into a "meta intro" video. It was a good way to experiment with a variety of new processes and tools.

DAY 043 - I tried doing a "work session screencast" with me adding an image to the sidebar of my blog, which was not very smooth because I couldn't remember how I did it. Still, it was an authentic portrayal of me working!

DAY 042 - I tested "Open Broadcaster": screencasting software that allows one to broadcast what you are doing on the computer through services like YouTube and TwitchTV. My test screencast was a design tour of my virtual house in the game "Wildstar", followed by a visit of other houses in the game.
