Ed: "BUT I WOULD WALK 500 MILES AND I WOULD WALK 500 MORE JUST TO BE THE MAN WHO WALKED 1,000 MILES TO FALL DOWN AT YOUR DOOR"!
Honestly, I don't know any other way to word it. My kidney condition has worsened considerably over the past few months and I'm now looking at needing a transplant within 3 to 6 months. I want to be around for my wife Rachel and daughter for a long time, so this is necessary. Plus, I like life, it's fun! Death is lame, don't make me do it. (Jokes are my coping mechanism)
We will enter my name on the transplant list, but that tends to take a year or more to find a donor. Instead, there are two better options: I find a kind, healthy person willing to donate directly or indirectly through the kidney exchange network (it depends on your blood group). My blood type is A positive and my birthday is 06/12/1970 (you need this for the donor form).
If you are that person, please contact me!

Ed: All 187 defenders of The Alamo, including DAVY CROCKETT and Bowie knife inventor JIM BOWIE, were killed by the Mexicans. JOHN WAYNE played Davy Crockett in the 1960 film "The Alamo". Honkies in brown makeup played most of the Mexicans. It was different time! About 150 years after the battle took place, Ozzy Osbourne peed on this hallowed ground while wearing one of his wife's dresses. Stay classy Ozzy!
Hi. I'm Dave. People say I am a pretty cool guy. I wouldn't know about that. I don't really think that way. Let me say...cool resists any linear structure. The second you think you are cool you are NOT! To be cool you must be comfortable in your own skin. Cool people are successful but seemingly unaffected by that success and the admiration of others.
Cool is individualism and true self identity regardless of the situation or social circumstances.
Cool is energy and vision and confidence without being self righteous or overbearing.
Cool never tries to influence how others see them. Cool knows this is futile.
Cool usually defies convention and cool people have careers born from passion.
Cool does not take itself too seriously, however cool does take what it does "very" seriously.
Coolness is a matter of balance; or more precisely, of negotiating a way to survive in a paradoxical condition. All this is why losing and still keeping a straight face or even a smile is probably the coolest behaviour one can imagine!
