Male Voice Actor - Specializing in Commercial and Documentary Narration
Introduction
I'm a voice actor. For the most part I work from my ISDN home studio recording brilliant commercials for very important people. Still I'm willing to travel for the right job. Happily living on the waterfront in beautiful downtown Vancouver. Yay for me!

I'll throw in a male voice over talent link to show Google and my web-world friends just how SEO savvy I am.
Bragging rights
I'm the narrator for Discovery Channel's Highway Thru Hell

The Awesomer posted the Valiant Hearts trailer I recently narrated. It's always a little surreal to find out people actually hear the work you do.
Set during World War I, Valiant Hearts follows four heroes and a faithful dog that binds their stories together. If this trailer doesn't leave you teary eyed, you're dead inside. Go cut some onions. T...

Hey Dave, is there any chance I could get in touch with you on email? :) I was wondering if you would be willing to have a micro-interview on your narrative role for Valiant Hearts.

Thanks!

Hey  #explainervideo  and  #sizzlereel  #producers    ... where do you go to find #voiceover talent for your videos?  Do you use casting sites such as Voice123 or Voices.com or do you go to a local casting service... Inquiring minds would like to know!

Life as a voice actor is different every day (except when you are working on a 100,000 word GPS Tour)

One of the most popular types of projects I've been working on lately are Explainer Videos.  An excellent way for any company to convey their message in a concise and visual manner.  Having a fantastic voiceover also helps!  Here's one I voiced for Blackberry

This is a fun video game trailer that I did for Icebreaker - a game presented by the same guys who created Angry Birds.   #voiceover   #videogametrailers

Can I convince you to visit Ecuador?  Last week I voiced this beautifully written script. You might recognize it. So proud to be a part of it. #allyouneedisecuador

"No one told me to fix it. I was only told to get the vehicle running." - Frank @ Parkway Automotive Those were the words Frank told me when I came back with a repair he botched. My truck was brought in because it wouldn't start. A week earlier, it was running perfectly, but one morning, it just stopped. Now I understand, things go wrong, especially in an older vehicle, but when I take it to an auto shop and their attitude is "Just get it running", I should expect it will be running like garbage when I get it back. And that it was. Frank replaced the distributor (with a rebuilt), got the truck running, but never road-tested it. I drove home thinking it was fixed. 3 days later, I drove it again, and it was hesitating, then stalling. I brought it back to have them look at the job again, because of how poorly it was running. Frank spent 2 more hours on it and called me saying, we should put new sparkplugs and wires on it. That will be another $250 on top of the $200 you now owe for diagnosis. I questioned whether Frank saw a connection here. Aren't the cables and plugs connected to the new distributor you just put in? You want me to pay another $200 on top of the $675 I just paid you for a new distributor, for a diagnosing a problem that's directly connected to the problem you just "fixed"? That's when Frank gave me his famous line.... the mantra of Parkway Automotive..... "I was just told to get it running." There you have it folks! The kind of service you'll get from Parkway Automotive. They'll get your vehicle running. But you'll have to take it to someone else to actually get it fixed.
