Just watched a documentary in which they showed that rats will self-regulate calorie intake when fed high sugar or high fat foods, but cannot self-regulate when fed food containing fat and sugar. There are no foods in nature that are high in fat and sugar so we have not evolved a way to control our consumption of such foods. The food industry knows this!
