Just put up some of my favorite frames from Israel, from a sunrise hike up Mt. Masada. We hiked up the Roman Ramp to the summit fortress of Mt. Masada in the black of night. Once we were up top, dawn swept over the valley and light spilled over the ruins. As the sun rose higher, beams of light cut through the thick desert air and exposed the majestic expanses of the Dead Sea basin and the surrounding area. The epic history of this place hangs in the air around the ancient walls.
