OK, I'm a snacker! I tend to reach into the pantry to snack on whatever we have on hand. Almonds are one of my go-to snacks, they are pretty healthy but high in fat and salt. Check out this article for 10 other good, healthy snacks!

Roasted Lemon-Pepper Green Cabbage Wedges

I wasn't organized enough to make Corn Beef and Cabbage this year, but we had the cabbage anyway! This recipe came across one of my feeds and it was really good! (We had it with some simple grilled pork chops and brown rice). I made ½ of cabbage into 4 wedges.

Roasted Lemon-Pepper Green Cabbage Wedges
Yield: 6

Ingredients

1 medium head of cabbage, sliced into wedges (I try to leave some of the "core" on each wedge, to hold it together a bit)
1/2 Tbsp Avocado oil, melted unrefined Coconut oil, or extra-virgin Olive oil.
1 Lemon, sliced into wedges
A pinch of sea salt & fresh ground pepper
Instructions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees f
Lightly brush outside of cabbage wedges with oil, entirely coating.
Place carefully on a flat baking sheet. Leave space in between wedges so they can crisp.
Sprinkle with sea salt, pepper.
Roast 15 minutes, then flip wedges, roast another 10 minutes or so, until outside pieces are crispy, & center is tender.
Serve with a fresh Lemon wedge.

5 Genius Push-Up Improvements

I've never been very good at pushups, they're right up there with pull-ups as an exercise I really don't like and can't do very well. I can do pushups, I've done a challenge for 100 pushups a day for 30 days, I did them 10 at a time, but I did them. Well, here are 5 tips to do them right! I like the first one; stay off the knees; I know I've been doing more inclined pushups using my “gym chair” then knee pushups.

Which improvement do you like best?
