This is too awesome not to share. An amazing video of 2 years worth of skydiving from Skydive City, my spiritual home DZ (and home DZ to many members here). Video is by Ryan Patrick and is one of the rare times that the spirit of a DZ is captured so well. The best memories of my life were made here. I'm sure I'm not alone. Check out the fantastic video and if you're considering learning to skydive, I cannot recommend ZHills enough.

Also, if by any chance all three of us were able to meet up in Perris this fall we are going to have to attempt a three-way Horny Gorilla.  We just don't have a choice lol!

Hi guys, as most of you know, I'm an angle junkie as it's my favourite flavour of skydiving. As such, it's usually the angle videos that jump out and excite me. This one is no different. Some really great footage of the 2015 angle camp in DeLand by +Matty Mitch and some really amazing camera flying.

I'll be running a photo and video competition for a free skydive shortly if there's a demand for it and if I can navigate the Google+ rules on competitions effectively so stay tuned. In the meantime, enjoy this beautiful flying.

This video was so fun to watch. Now I am truly in my happy zone. :)
Did my first jump ever last week and now I just long to live up there. Videos are so much better after being in the sky. Brings it back.

Hi guys. In an effort to keep things interesting around here, we'll be featuring some skydiving photographers over the coming months. The first photographer up is a good friend and amazing sky snapper Lukasz Czapla. +czaplaskydive  Lukasz is a Polish skydiver who's resident at the +Irish Parachute Club and is part of the furniture. I'd also like to encourage you all to visit Ireland. As you can see from Lukasz' photos, it's pretty stunning. When the weather plays ball :)

As part of the 15 second interview, here are Lukasz' replies. Please show the love and give his photos a share.

- I'm 14 years in this sport.
- I Jump because I can't live without it.
- I don't know how to make a perfect skydive photo but I think the most important aspect is the right moment :)
- In next 10 years I hope I will still be in this sport.
- Camera setup is dependant on weather conditions.
- My advise for the new skydivers is... be patient and for elder ones don't forget why you doing this!

Thanks Lukasz!

A nice short video by René Terstegen of the one and only Inka Titto showing off her freestyle. Inka just so happens to have been one of my freefly coaches. Unfortunately, I can only ever dream about flying as well as her. And yes, her attitude is is contagious in the air. If only her skills were too.

Love how great Ireland looks from above. Lukasz gives my home DZ at the Irish Parachute Club an extra special touch of magic.

Another cracker, this time from the Skydive Spain Xmas boogie. My favourite dropzone in Europe. Some sweet Atmo action happening in this one, check out the mid trace reverse. Mind-bogglingly smooth.

Anyone else got any winter boogie videos?

Possibly the worst bar to get served in if you're not female in Ireland. Place is tiny (not a bad thing necessarily) but getting served is a nightmare. On weekend nights when there's a cover charge, I'd rather not have to pay to enter a venue where I have to queue for 30 mins to get a drink. The toilets are pretty...communal too. Plenty of better places in Swords for decent music and cheaper drinks.

Staff here are great and the coffee is fantastic. This is where I hold meetings (the back room is hidden and quiet) and where I meet for chats. Central location, amazing coffee, decent food and staff that aren't just going through the motions.

The staff here are excellent. Really excellent. The decor her makes you feel like you've traveled back in time. It's a little unassuming place right off a main road. Word of warning, make sure you ask for a room that's not facing the street. It's pretty noisy there. I actually got to spend time in 4 different rooms at this hotel. While there's no elevator, the attic conversion is the best room. It's the only one that's "modern" and is away from the hustle and bustle of the location. Ask for this one if you don't mind a few flights of stairs. The location of this hotel is fantastic. It's right in the middle of everything and about 15 seconds walk from a popular nightclub (although you cannot hear it from the hotel). If I was going back to Kraków, I'd stay here again. The only issue I have with this place is the beds. They're as old as the decor and you can feel it. Pro tip: Use the TVs USB slit to charge your devices if you don't have an adapter but make sure you get a spare key card to leave in the slot so the power stays on when you've left the room.

Fantastic service. It's great to see a company specialize in getting the latest tech and getting it fast. I recently purchased a hard to find machine and was able to order and pick it up within 48 hours. I love local pickup, it's such a rare treat :) The guys at Elara were super helpful and live chat support throughout the entire purchase process made the process fantastic. This is not the first time I've used Elara and after my most recent experience, it certainly will not be my last. Cannot recommend these guys enough. If you're collecting your item at their collections office, be assured, it's a super smooth affair.

Pretty disappointed with this college. It's a fantastic example of a company following the money at all costs, including at the expense of the student/customer. I did the project management course and and it seemed like they made it up as they went along. We covered EXACTLY 15% of what the course prospectus said we'd cover. Basically, a lie. I'm surprised these guys are still in business. That's the college cabal though right? Pay up front and no comeback if there's a poor service or you don't get what you pay for. What other business could you get away with that in? If you're looking at going back to college, go to NCI or DBS. I graduated IBAT but would never hire a graduate from here.

Great spot. Gets pretty busy but there's lots of little areas making this large pub seem cosy. While I'm not a smoker, the smoking areas are away from the main drinking area and are fantastic in summer (on the roof). Can be difficult to get served on weekends because lots of people still think it's fine to park their group at the bar but that's not a problem specific to this bar.

The speakeasy themed cocktail bar phenomenon has taken off in Dublin over the past few years. To say that they're all a desperate attempt with an even worse result is an understatement. That is, all but one. The VCC. I'm not sure if the VCC was the first of its kind in Dublin, but it was certainly the first I had heard of and it was the first I had visited. Unfortunately for the others which shall remain nameless because they are so poor that they don't even deserve to be compared in the same light, the VCC has set the standard impossibly high. Despite being slap bang in the middle of temple bar, a great deal of effort has gone into giving this place the speakeasy feel and that seemed to be a high priority for the owners. The venue, while small, has immense attention to detail throughout. It's a rare spot that actually succeeds in making you feel in the era they're trying to portray. Next up is the cocktails. What can I say? I've only ever been to one other place with cocktails of this quality an no other place with the sheer number of cocktails available to try. They quite literally have a book of cocktails with history lessons and reading in there too with a nice handy bookmark to choose the cocktails you want. I'd recommend ordering two at a time as the effort that goes into creating them means you'll wait a bit for that quality. Their signature cocktail menu is absolutely amazing too. The mixologist here know their stuff. It's hard to describe just how much effort goes into every part of the experience here. For the smokers, there's an amazing smoking area upstairs that feels like you're in just another room of the venue. Well ventilated with a bar and draughtless enough for candles. Finally, the food. This was a surprise as it wasn't front and center of their offering. It's surprisingly good considering the small size of their menu. I was thinking, how could such an amazing cocktail venue possibly serve good food too? Well, VCC showed me how. My only criticism is the speed of the service. I know perfection takes time and maybe it's years of conditioning visiting pint slinging bars, but I feel a little more could be done on the speed of service front. Waiting 20 mins at a quiet time for your first cocktail certainly builds anticipation but in fairness, they give you some free proscecco while you wait to soften the blow. This place is perfect for first dates, non-confidential meetings (it's a little cramped inside), the start of a nigh out, pre event and catch ups. The prices are decent for what you get and you'll find yourself booking your next visit on your way out. It's quiet and they keep the rowdy crowds out. Definitely one of my favourite venues in Dublin. Make sure you book a table though. It's unlikely you'll be able to walk in off the street at random and they'll be able to accommodate you. This place has built a pretty solid reputation as a premium, old fashioned, cosmopolitan place. Definitely a must visit establishment in Dublin.
