Allow myself to introduce...myself.

I'm an avid homebrewer, a contributing editor for +Craft Beer and Brewing Magazine, and an occasional contributor to Zymurgy magazine. I geek out more on beer than I do the equipment used to brew it, so my setup is pretty rudimentary: converted cooler mash tun, restaurant supply stock pots, and lots of lifting and pouring. But it makes beer. I do, however, run a nice kegerator with a nitro faucet: I love the texture that nitro lends to low gravity malty styles.

My favorite styles to brew are German lagers, British bitters, and American pale ales.

I am in charge of +Craft Beer and Brewing Magazine's Ask the Experts column, so if you have a question you'd like to see answered in print, feel free to send it my way, and I'll plunk it in the queue.

I'm also sporadically active over on +Homebrew Talk under the handle QuaffableQuips (formerly NochEineMassBitte). Looking forward to learning from and contributing to this group!

Cheers!
Dave

New to the community, thanks for having me. Here's a photo of my summer saison, just tapped this week. Finally got around to using Belle Saison, and I like it a lot. Prost!
