When I decided to visit Darwin after my road trip from Adelaide, I wasn't sure what to expect.

I knew next to nothing about the city, except for the fact that it was very tropical!

Well, it's safe to say that I was surprised by what I found! There's plenty of things to do in Darwin, such as visit the Lagoon or the night market at Mindil Beach.

It may be a small city, but it's full of character and there's a great deal to see in the surrounding area such as Kakadu and Litchfield National parks!

Birthplace of the Buddha in Lumbini, Nepal

This area of southern Nepal bordering India is where the Buddha was born in the famous gardens of Lumbini. There are so many fascinating monasteries, monuments and the holy site to visit which is all part of the Unesco World Heritage certification.
