Falls at Waterton Lake, Alberta Canada. Falls turned red after high amounts rain fall in area washed red sediment down from Redrock Canyon(red shale) very rare occurrence.

It did happen once in the NFL. I remember the game.  I believe the player was Chuck Hughes of the Detroit Lions. I may not have the name correct.  I believe it was over 40 years ago.  Of course situations are vastly different now.
