The longest week ever, comes to a close!  My latest article, an Introduction to #TypeScript for #DynamicsCrm Developers will give you a head-start in making Xrm.Page/Utility development a reality with TypeScript.  It'll also make your code significantly more sensible, with stronger expectations established by rich typing.  This can be a fantastic spring-board into TypeScript for other web resources, as I have found.  Enjoy!

Space toilet paper?!  How primitive!  Bidets, or some other manner of arse-hole cleanliness, must be implemented.  Hell, I abandoned tree-based anus-cleansing a long time ago, and I live in the 21st Century!  If you had some crap on your arm, would you simply use a tissue to clean it off, and call it a day?

I went ahead and posted an item to Microsoft Connect on the bug mentioned in this article:  https://connect.microsoft.com/dynamicssuggestions/feedback/details/1221525/html-web-resource-click-event-sequence-broken-in-dynamics-crm-for-outlook

Go vote for it if you can reproduce the behavior, or are affected by it.
I had a recent adventure with a Kendo UI project that took me into the recesses of a place I have very skillfully avoided for 7 lucky years: debugging JavaScript in the CRM for Outlook client.  The problem jumped out at me at...

What if the addition of Spider-Man dilutes or otherwise harms the progress that's been made so far?  We all thought it would be awesome, but what if it has the opposite effect?  Spidey's iterative incarnations will probably only serve to remove people from the Universe's cinematic spectacle as they try to reconcile or otherwise passively acknowledge the previous iterations against an otherwise well-built foundation of plot and inter-character relationships.  That said, I trust Marvel, I just wonder if this is going to be Marvel's "Snakes on a Plane" moment.

I'm glad you branched into your own show, Mr. Abent.  Catching your segment during AtV was always a priority of mine.  As a fellow coder, I'm interested in seeing your processes and tools, and the results they give you.  This is transparency of a different kind for a game maker, and really speaks to the depth of architecture lying under the hood of StarCitizen.  It's reassuring and rewarding to literally see how the money I donated is being spent, and is much more practical to me than chatty status updates about features we can't actually see in action until, well, they cross your desk.  Thank you, and please don't get cancelled.  ;)

Attention broadband providers:  this mess you're in?  Your fault.  You got greedy, and decided to levy authoritarian rule over our communications by skirting around fairness, equity, operational transparency, and privacy.  In short:  you bit the hand that feeds you, and expected everybody to forget the pain, and then it became a struggle for freedom in your domain.
Cable, wireless, and telco trade groups ask for stay while lawsuit is pending.

SourceFed will have fewer dinosaurs, and that's sad.  (I mean the creatures.  That wasn't about age.  I swear.  I'm an old fart too.  Oh God, I didn't mean it like that.  Shit.)
So, um, good luck in the future, Lee, and thanks for all you've done to bring happiness to my day!  I would often chuckle at your gagging fits, and I feel guilty for that.  You brought a comfortable warmth to my viewing day, and the chemistry between you, Elliot, and Joe, really won me as a regular viewer at the very beginning.  In a very appropriate and poetic way, you bring your whole heart out to play in everything you do, and shared it with me.  I love and thank you for that.

It's important to keep an eye out for things like this.  And I'm thankful to support those who take the time and attention to detail that I simply cannot.  Thanks, +Electronic Frontier Foundation, for keeping me informed about my government's actions relating to the Internet--where I thrive.

The U.S. Senate is being asked to approve two treaties—one that would benefit blind people and wouldn't require any changes to U.S. law, and the other that would benefit Hollywood studios and could require sweeping changes. Cynically riding on the backs of blind people, Hollywood wants both treaties to be treated as a package.
In Jewish religious law, there is an offence called lifnei iver (literally, “before the blind”), that prohibits placing stumbling blocks before blind people, deriving from a verse of scripture also accepted by Christians and Muslims. This offense seems so obvious that it hardly requires a scripture verse to call it out. But the authors of the Torah obviously didn't count on the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), who are doing exactly t...

Opponents of Net Neutrality be like: "Well if them there good ol' boys Comcast and AT&T figger'd out a way to be kings and squash competition with legislation and ruthless, immoral business tactics, then by God, the free market must want it!  In America, we believe freedom and low, low prices comes from market subjugation, and none of that 'equal playing field' crap!  If football teams want to draw their goal lines in an altogether different state, then it's fair for the opposing team!  We don't need rules to figure out who's best.  That's what money is for!"
