Either for work or just for fun, science can be one of the most rewarding and exciting fields to delve into. This is something that Google apparently understands well, as out of thin air, it has released a very cool science app. Called Science Journal, this app will let anyone with an interest in science create and manage their own projects. Hewlett-Packard is struttin’ its stuff in the ultrabook class with the brand new EliteBook 1030, which slots in nicely between the lower-end EliteBook Folio 1020 and the range-topping EliteBook 1040. In fact, the EliteBook 1030 is actually based on the 12.2-inch CNC-machined aluminum body of the EliteBook Folio 1020, but ditches the 12.5-inch

It looks as though a new competitor is looking to charge into the electrified vehicle market. Whereas Tesla Motors is squarely aimed at the passenger vehicle market with high-priced full EVs like the Model S and Model X, Nikola Motors (clearly a nod to Tesla) has its sights set much higher on the world of long-haul transportation. The headlining

#Micron  is getting busy with #G5X   #NVIDIA   #GeForceGTX1080
Are you excited for NVIDIA's latest and greatest GPU, the GeForce GTX 1080? If so, imagine how the hard-working engineers at Micron feel, as their GDDR5X memory has become part of what makes NVIDIA's new Pascal-based cards perform at such a high level. As NVIDIA's co-founder and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said at his company's launch event last

Google wants more eye candy to spruce up its search results on mobile, so it has introduced rich cards, a new search result format building on the success of rich snippets. Rich snippets are structured data markup that site operators can add to their existing HTML. This allows search engines to better understand what information is contained

Nvidia unveiled their latest high-end graphics cards for gamers earlier this month, called the GeForce GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 and it's safe to say the announcement was like a virtual bomb-drop. Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang made claims of big performance gains and new-found levels of efficiency at attainable price [...]

It seems as though device manufacturers are increasingly hoping that consumers will supplement their expensive smartphones with smartwatches that can cost hundreds of dollars. There’s a problem though with this train of thought: using a tiny smartwatch display to navigate through UIs can often be a test of your patience, which can instead

#Amazon  killin it lately.
We’ve all seen Amazon’s Dash buttons; the little Wi-Fi connected devices that allow you to quickly reorder products without even having to visit Amazon’s website. Back in late March, Amazon expanded its Dash lineup to include over 100 products from dozens of household brands. Now, Amazon has rolled out a customized version of Dash, which is

Late last week, we provided you with some awesome footage of Doom running on an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 using the Vulkan API. Granted, we were filming this footage using our own camera, so it’s not exactly clean, crisp and impeccably detailed. Well, the folks at NVIDIA and id Software want to make sure that eager-beaver gamers are seeing Doom
