Today my rights were restored after being taken away for no reason. It's a pity how easy the government can take away rights and not guarantee to give it back once it's all clear. Stay safe my friends.

There has been some racial discussion in this group, so for a disclaimer this post is not to spark that up. This kid obviously has issues. The point I want to point out however is that he said he thought about shooting drug dealers but they would likely shoot back. So he went to a church where people he felt were unarmed would be. Anyone seeing a trend? Full link for anyone wanting to read it : http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/ct-dylann-roof-charleston-shooting-20161209-story.html

So need advice. Will moving my dot forward on my rifle make a significant difference on my ar? I want to add my magnification. Moving it forward should move bullseye poi out right? Just curious before I go to the range and start messing around. It's an SBR and sited in for close quarters combat so I wouldn't mind having it dead on a little further but not much. Then again who needs a magnifier for cqc

Good lock breaks the flash light. It won't turn off. Last update

I'm personally happy (edit okay) this is happening with the note 7. I never buy the note series, and you can bet your money the S8 won't have this issue because Samsung will be extra cautious. I only hope the S8 comes in the same size as the S7 flat, regardless if the screen is curved or not.

Okay so a question for anyone who has ever done this or has any advice here:

My son is 7 and has had no exposure to guns despite my love of the hobby. My wife is European and strongly opposes guns. Its simply her culture wasn't raised on the idea of having firearms around where as I grew up with an Army vet and knew where his guns where and knew not to touch them. She doesn't even want my kids to see the guns when I come in from the range; they go right upstairs and in the safe, until the night when the kids go to bed and the guns come out to get cleaned.

With that said, after much convincing she has been very supportive and open to my hobby, but has be adamant about keeping the guns away from the kids, which in return I compromise as well. If it were up to me, he's perfect age to start safety training and shooting, but we must respect each other as parents.

The fact of the matter is, we live in America, and any household can have guns. -- I am thinking about loosely "hiding" one of my UNLOADED guns somewhere I know my son will find it to one, see his reaction, and two allow for opportunity of a teaching moment. Reality is, not everyone is as safe as I am with keeping guns locked up and the such. I don't want his first encounter with a real gun to be at a friends house and its loaded.

What do any of you fathers in similar situations or perhaps different, think? I have't ran it across the wife yet, but I'm sure her initial reaction will be hell no. But she will sit down and listen to my perspective I'm sure.

Thanks
